重庆—大足石刻：大足石刻位于重庆市，以大足县、潼南县、铜梁县、壁山县为范围，在此地可赏到代表中国唐、宋时期大足石刻的石刻造像艺术，大足石刻是大足县境内主要表现为摩崖造像的石窟艺术的总称。大足石刻群有石刻造像70多处，总计10万多躯，其中以宝顶山和北山摩崖石刻最为著名，其以佛教造像为主，儒、道教造像并陈，是中国晚期石窟造像艺术的典范，规模之宏大，艺术之精湛，内容之丰富，可与敦煌莫高窟、云冈石窟、龙门石窟齐名。大足石刻因地处中国内地山区，过去交通不便，幸免了历代战争的浩劫和人为破坏，具有很高的文物、雕刻和旅游价值，尤以北山摩崖石刻和宝顶山摩崖石刻最集中。
1999年12月1日联合国教科文组织世界遗产委员会第23届会议上将大足石刻中的北山、宝顶山、南山、石篆山、石门山五处摩崖造像，正式列入世界文化遗产。
重庆---奉节白帝城：白帝城位于长江北岸，距奉节城东约15华里，掩映在郁郁葱葱的绿树丛中，是三峡的西口，入川的门户。由于地势险峻，古往今来，常为兵家必争之地。白帝城也是三峡游览胜地 。西汉末年公孙述据蜀，在山上筑城，因城中一井常冒白气，宛如白龙，他便借此自号白帝，并名此城为白帝城。公孙述死后，当地人在山上建庙立公孙述像，称白帝庙。由于公孙述非正统而系称，明正德七年（1512年）四川巡抚毁公孙述像，祀江神、土神和马援像，改称“三公祠”。明嘉靖十二年（1533年）又改祀刘备、诸葛亮像，名“正义祠”；以后又添供关羽、张飞像，遂形成白帝庙内无白帝，而长祀蜀汉人物的格局。
白帝城三面环水，一面傍山，孤独峙，气象萧森，在雄伟险峻的夔门山水中，显得格外秀丽。从山脚下拾级而上，要攀登近千级石阶，才到达山顶的白帝庙门前。在这里可观赏夔门的雄壮气势。绕至庙后，可见蜿蜒秀丽的草堂河从白帝山下入江。白帝庙内有明良殿、武侯祠、观星亭等明清建筑。明良殿为嘉靖十二年建，系庙内主要建筑，内有刘备、关羽、张飞塑像。武侯祠内供诸葛亮祖孙三代像。祠前的观星亭，传说是诸葛亮夜观星象的地方。明良殿和武侯祠左右两侧藏有各代名碑。庙内还有文物陈列室、诗史堂，陈列着新石器时代以来的出土文物和古今名家的书画。唐代诗人李白，由白帝城下江陵（今荆州）所赋的诗《朝辞白帝城》，至今读来仍觉轻快爽口，意趣盎然。
重庆---火锅：重庆两江（长江、嘉陵江）江流之处的朝天门，原是回民屠宰牲口的地方，回民宰牛后只要其肉、骨、皮，但却将牛内脏弃之不用，岸边的水手、纤夫将其捡回，洗净后倒入锅中，加入辣椒、花椒、姜、蒜、盐等辛辣之物，煮而食之，一来饱腹，二来驱寒、祛湿，久而久之，就成了重庆最早的也是最有名气的麻辣毛肚火锅。因此，重庆的火锅发源于朝天门码头。由于巴蜀素有“尚滋味”、“好辛香”、用辣椒、花椒等调味的饮食习惯，所以麻辣毛肚火锅很受欢迎，而后随着改革春风迅速辐射全国。据传大约在清道光年间，重庆的筵席上开始出现毛肚火锅。现在从西北戈壁腹地格尔木到冬海之滨的国际大都会上海；从北国冰城哈尔滨到椰岛首府海口市，都布满了重庆火锅馆，到处都可以品尝到重庆火锅的独特风味。真可谓是重庆火锅红遍大江南北，魅力无限。但正宗的重庆火锅一直的发展可谓是保守的，大型的重庆火锅技术向来不外传，一向以加盟形式在发展。加盟费少则几万，多则上百万，且店面都有严格的规定，店面少则百十平米，多则几千平米，不谈装修款，光是店面租金和加盟费就让居社会绝大数的中小投资者望火锅而心叹，-----只有有钱人才敢想，才能做，才能加盟重庆火锅，才能赚火锅带来的滚滚财源
