But that’s the price people have to pay for destroying in the ecology balance.People shouldn’t be short-sighted.Protecting the environment is everyone’s task.

As you know, there are four kinds of pollution.They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution.But what can we do to solve the pollution? Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,I'm an athlete,I'm so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that god only help those who help themselves.During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.

Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.

I have a dream that one day ,I can run,jump and pitch just like I used to be.

I have a dream that one day , I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place at the olympic games.With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that I'm so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

In a sense we have come to our nation\'s capital to cash a check.When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promiory note to which every American was to fall heir.This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happine.

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promiory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked \"insufficient funds\".But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now.This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit p

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment.This sweltering summer of the Negro\'s legitimate discontent will not pa until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality.Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to busine as usual.There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights.The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice.In the proce of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds.Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterne and hatred.

We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline.We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence.Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny.They have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.We cannot walk alone.

As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.We cannot turn back.There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, \"When will you be satisfied?\" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.We can never be satisfied, as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities.We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro\'s basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one.We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating \"For Whites Only\".We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Miiippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote.No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfie 2 d until justice rolls down like waters and righteousne like a mighty stream.

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations.Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells.Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality.You have been the veterans of creative suffering.Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.

Go back to Miiippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.Let us not wallow in the valley of despair.

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up, live up to the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.”

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

一、英文绘本材料的甄选英文绘本资源逐渐增多，但什么样的绘本才适合学生阅读呢？一个好的绘本故事能开阔学生的视野，能让他们从中学到许多做人的道理。因此，在挑选绘本故事时，我们要选择一些经典的、经过时间检验的童话、寓言故事。如学生熟悉的《白雪公主》、《小美人鱼》、《灰姑娘》、《风中奇缘》等。这些童话故事寓意深远，非常适合学生阅读。另外，考虑到学生认知的局限性，我们挑选的绘本一定要简单易懂，最好是原版的绘本。当然，教师自己选编的也可以，但是要贴近学生的需求，并拥有纯正的英文表达方式。英文绘本材料甄选完成以后，我们可以拟定推荐书目，让学生根据书目挑选阅读。当然，也可以让学生推荐，让他们提出好的建议，与大家分享。

二、英文绘本阅读的目标每个学生来自不同的家庭，他们所接受的教育各不相同，接受能力也有差别。因此，英文绘本阅读的目标不能统一，我们需要给学生设置不同的阅读目标。如

三、四年级学生刚刚接触英语，他们的阅读目标可以是：增强绘本阅读兴趣；能看懂最简单的英文绘本故事（绘本以图片为主要内容的）；能较为顺畅地朗读绘本中的语言。

五、六年级的学生有了一定的语言基础，他们的阅读目标可以是：能听懂、会读英文绘本；能在教师指导下完美演绎绘本故事。这样设置分层目标不仅可以提高学生绘本阅读的兴趣，还能让他们信心满满地去完成绘本阅读任务。

三、英文绘本阅读的策略第一，教师对学生的指导策略。学生在刚接触英文绘本时，他们不知所措，因此，教师的指导显得尤为重要。为了让学生对阅读感兴趣，教师在指导阅读之前要注意自己的态度和语气。学生是特别感性的，如果教师能够用温暖的目光、和蔼的笑容、亲切的态度引导他们阅读，他们会倍感轻松，在阅读时，也会更加投入。教师还要善于思考，要运用多种方式去呈现故事，如图文共现、设置悬念、疑问启发、猜测情节等，用饶有趣味的形式吸引学生的注意力，引导他们在轻松有趣的氛围中阅读绘本。第二，学生的自读策略。英文绘本画面优美、情节简单、语言押韵，这些都是吸引学生的特有因素，但是绘本阅读还是需要学生自己去阅读的，只有他们亲身经历、自己感悟阅读材料，才能获取更丰富的阅读经验。莎士比亚曾经说过：“一千个读者就有一千个哈姆雷特。”也就是说，即使是同一本书，由不同的读者来读，都会有不一样的想法。因此，我们要给学生个性化阅读时间，让他们可以独立思考、独立阅读。如让学生提前阅读、带着疑问阅读、小组合作交流阅读等，多样的阅读方式可以让学生在自读自悟中读出自己的风采，获取最适合自己的阅读策略，让他们的英文绘本阅读更有效。第三，在阅读过程中的交流策略。学习知识的过程不仅仅是纯粹的收纳，丰厚知识底蕴还需要适当的释放，并展示自己的才华，这样才能让知识外显，让学生获取成功的喜悦。当然，英文绘本阅读也不例外。在学生阅读时，可以让他们设计采蜜卡，把自己最喜欢的对话，最喜欢的角色语言都摘录下来，撰写自己的阅读体会。这样就可以通过文字的形式释放他们的阅读成果了。为了促进英文绘本阅读的开展，我们也可以开展一些有意义的活动，如一个月举办一次绘本短剧表演，用课本剧的形式去检验学生阅读的成效，让学生感受英文语言的魅力以及它们的实用价值。我们还可以鼓励学生模仿绘本材料续编故事，让他们在创作的过程中，进一步体会英文绘本原著的内涵意义。第四，家长共建策略。学生在最初接触英文绘本阅读时，需要家长的支持。教师在学校进行策略性引导，家长要努力为学生创设阅读环境。教师要定期向家长汇报阅读活动的步骤，以及学生阅读的状况，争取获得家长们的支持。如果情况允许的话，可以让家长与学生在家里共同搜集阅读绘本，这样学生的阅读会更有效果。总之，阅读是一件快乐的事情，我们要用绘本去开启学生阅读的灵智，让他们沉浸在阅读中，汲取更多、更丰富的英文知识。（特约编辑 陈兮琰）
