more enjoyable than it was several decades ago? I would say no, as I have

witneed the struggle and paradox of our generation.

First of all, we are now living in an age of revolution with no previous human

experience that could be referred to.Living in such a fast-changing world wouldnot be easy and comfortable at all; with everything keeps changing, everyone hasto move fast in order to catch up with the majority.However, people were muchmore stable and care-free when our grandparents were children; they did not haveto learn a second language in order to get a better job, or read a lot in order

to get informed.Yet in our age, these are supposed to be the responsibility of

young people.

Another discomfort of our age is that we are experiencing interpersonal

alienation.With the development of communication technology, people in factbecome alienated with friends and relatives since they could be so easily

acceed via phone or email.Too often we feel that few of our friends are true

friends, without the traditional feeling of mutual affection which could only becreated by longtime apart.But several decades ago, people treasured their

friends and maintained relatively close interpersonal relations, which is much

more enjoyable than the estrangements we are experiencing.

The last factor that has made our age so uncomfortable is the abusive use of

technology.Although it brings much convenience, it eentially changes human –we are no longer the master of tools, but instead the slaves of devices.We rushto metro station in order to catch an early train, sit in front of radioactive

computers all day long in order to get our work done, and stay in

air-conditioned rooms all summer without experiencing the natural changes

outside thick cement walls.Several decades ago, people could still live closer

to nature and make rational use of modern technology, which to me is the eenceof human living experience.

However, the comparison between different times is itself ridiculous.Thecriteria could not be easily determined, and opinions are highly personal.

Anyway, we have a longer life span, more advanced medical facilities, and easiertraffic than our grandparent when they were children, and we should treasure thepresent experience.Imagination of the past might only be nostalgia – if I askmy grandparents the same question, they might as well say that our life is muchbetter than the past generations.Who knows? Apart from environmental degradation, the fact that we are rumbling into a throw-away society provokes social problems.In respect of producers, “planned obsolescence” was devised, with the goal of making products break down in a relatively short time and urging customers to replace them.If an electric appliance stops working, people are disposed to buy a new one, owning to the expensive repairing expenses and the impatience to waiting for it to be examined and fixed.In addition, technique advances reduce the cost and price of electric items.This trend not only causes more resource-wasting, but stirs up the climate of squandering and ficklene as well.Regarding consumers, people used to have a sentimental attachment to their poeions, but the fast-changing society ruthlely breaks these bonds.In the past, a television could accompany us for more than twenty years,while nowadays we will renew it in a couple of years.By and large, throw-away society has dim prospects.

On the whole, though we have to admit that disposable goods have their advantages, we should put the brakes on the trend of turning into a throw-away society.The usage of throwaway products should be limited in a proper amount to eliminate the problems appearing along with it.

An eential reason concerns the nature of advertising – advertisers, in most cases, would only make products seem better than they really are, not the other way around.Since the ultimate aim of advertising is to persuade people into buying something, and people would natually be attracted by something that is desirable rather than repellent, advertisements are certainly made to display a more attractive image of products.Therefore, customers would first be graviated towards the virtual product that is somewhat dishonestly pictured by advertisers, then desire to own it, and eventually purchase it.In this way, the desire of consumers is satisfied, the purpose of production achieved, and the advertising proce completed.

有三篇文章。与老托福不同的是，考生不需要在答题之前通读全文，而是在做题的过程中分段阅读文章。每篇文章对应有11道试题，均为选择题。除了最后一道试题之外，其他试题都是针对文章的某一部分提问，试题的出现顺序与

听力(Listening)：

口试(Speaking)：

把TSE (Test of Spoken English)融合在新托福中。然而与现行的TSE相比又有较大改动。这个部分共有6题，持续约20分钟。

第一、二题要求考生就某一话题阐述自己的观点。

第三、四题要求考生首先在45秒内阅读一段短文，随后短文隐去，播放一段与短文有关的对话或课堂演讲。最后，要求考生根据先前阅读的短文和播放的对话或课堂演讲回答相关问题，考生有30秒钟的准备时间，然后进行60秒钟的回答。例如，短文中描述了对学校体育馆进行扩建的两种方案，对话中一位同学阐述了自己的立场，即赞成哪种方案，反对哪种方案，并列举了若干理由。要求考生叙述对话中同学的立场并解释他／她列举了哪些理由支持这一观点。

第五、六题要求考生听一段校园情景对话或课堂演讲，然后回答相关问题。考生有20秒钟的准备时间，之后进行60秒钟的回答。例如，先播放一段市场学课堂演讲，演讲中教授列举了两种市场调查的方法，然后要求考生使用课堂演讲中的

观点和例子描述教授列举出的两种市场调查的方法。

考生可以在听音过程中记笔记以帮助答题。在准备和答题时，屏幕上会显示倒计时的时钟。

写作(Writing)

要求考生在1小时内完成两篇作文。

其中一篇类似于老托福的写作，要求考生在30分钟内就某一话题阐述自己的观点，字数要求为300字以上。

另一篇则要求考生首先阅读一篇文章，五分钟以后，文章隐去，播放一段与文章有关的课堂演讲。课堂演讲列举了一些论据反驳文章中的论点、论据。随后要求考生在20分钟内写一篇作文，总结课堂演讲的论点、论据，并陈述这些论点、论据是如何反驳文章的论点、论据的，字数要求为150字到225字之间。在写作时，文章会重新显示在屏幕上。这篇作文不要求考生阐述自己的观点。

托福考试的加试是ETS为了保证其评分公平公正所设立的考试。分为听力加试和阅读加试。通常考生会遇到两者中的一种，在很少的情况下会遇到“双加”或者“双不加”。所谓的加试就是在考阅读和听力的过程中，会比正常的题目数多。这就是为什么OG上写：阅读3-5篇，60-100分钟；听力对话2-3篇，讲座4-6篇，60-90分钟。而且我们在这里要注意一下考试时间，在考试的时候，阅读里面第一篇文章限时20分钟，第二篇文章和第三篇文章一共40分钟，如果有加试则会多出来一个新的section，这个新的section也是两篇文章一共限时40分钟。加试题目是不算成绩的。但是，你不知道哪几篇是加试，也感觉不出来哪个是。所以都要好好做，有的时候你觉得这篇文章是加试，没好好做，结果它就是正题，就傻眼了。切记，加试不一定是最后出现的那两篇。比如你加试的是阅读，一共5篇文章，有可能1和5是加试，也有可能2和3是加试

考试形式

新托福考试采用真实场景，如模拟大学校园中的动态和交互式环境，试题综合考查听、说、读、写4项英语语言能力，考生可充分展示使用英语进行交流的能力。

新托福考试通过互联网进行，考试采取机考形式。新托福考试的考试时间和各部分试题数目都是固定的。但该考试不采用计算机出题的方式，即题目难度与上一题回答是否准确无关。

像这种开头以In a modern society, people always face the dilemma to choose whether AAA or BBB.来作为开始的模板，实在是太多太普遍了。当然还包括“Nowadays, some people hold the opinion that”“In modern society,”当一看到这样的标题，考官就好像用自己的左手握着自己的右手，丝毫感觉不到有任何的激情产生。但是同样是模板，其实如果我们另辟蹊径，换用一种完全不同的手法来写，感觉就是十分的清新。Before rendering my stand, I think it is eential to take a glance at the argument on both sides.就是这样，虽然同样也是在展示自己的观点，但是由于完全不同于以前我们看到的十分程式化的模板。其实模板很多时候看的不是用多少词，以及句型有多么的夸张，其实很多时候凭借前一个词与我们以前看到的文章的匹配程度，就已经有很强的感觉了。

当然我们在塑造模板的时候，也是要遵循一定的原则的。

1 新颖：所谓的新颖不代表说你用了什么新的词，用了什么强调句式，倒装句式，指的是全新的，以前的模板没有用过的话，那么怎么才能知道前人到底用过什么

模板呢？很简单，到寄托天下或者太傻的作文互助帖子里面去看一下，不超过20篇，你就对模板是什么样，有一个很深刻的认识了。

2 结构完整，关于结构完整，无老师在《手把手教你打造满分作文模板（上）【无老师原创】》发布之后，即有考友给无老师留言，这段写得特别好，无老师原文收录在下面。

谢谢无老师啊，最近我也在研究模板的构造，我的思路是分成以下几步：

1.确定文章主体框架结构，包括引出观点和总结观点的词汇，句式，这个可能是网大多数模板的水平；

2.确定论证过程的框架，每个支持段落都有各自的论证模式，举例，因果，对比等，确定到论证的逻辑引导词上；

3.通过改写句子，采用合适的词汇代替以上两步的成果；

4.改变句式，将各类语法结够加入其中：倒装，独立主格结构，虚拟语气等。这位考友的思路是十分完备的，按照这个思路再加上充足的练习，几乎可以预见到这位考友的分数将是无限接近满分的。

那么我们其实就可以按照这位考友的思路来走。首先第一步确定主体结构，其实现在的托福作文总体来说大多采取3-5段式。第1段点题，第2-4段展开，最后一段，也就是第5段收尾。

这是整体的文章结构，具体到每一段之内，也是遵循这个思路，第

1、2句表明本段的主题，然后接下来几句话进行支持，如果是第一段、那么在该段落的最后还要给第二段留出引子，以及在最后一段最后

至于第三步，改写句子对于大多数人来说，其实还是寻找句子，然后才是改写句子。搜集句子与改写句子其实是一个互相辅助的关系，你搜集的好句子多了，那么你改写的难度就低了；反过来，你搜集的好句子少，那么相应的要取得高分，你需要做的改写就多了。因此从这个角度来看，还是一开始就把搜集句子这个步骤做扎实来得好。

要说搜集句子，首先要有一个坚强的后盾，那么这些后盾从哪里来呢？

like „, „ and „ in the survey.相识的数字，加上确凿的低点，一切显得都是那么无可辩驳，但是实际上这就是一个模板。

当然我们不肯能每一个句子都是这么长，因此我们可以加入很多For example, Therefore, 所引导的句子来增强文章内部的节奏感，使得读者不会感觉到过于疲惫。

至于末段的模板则是有一些讲究的，但是当无老师看了无数篇作文和《经济学人The.Economist》的文章之后，无老师开始反思我们很多学生写的“ After

ruminating over all these factors, ”“It is more advantageous for us to make decision alone,”“As far as I am concerned, I come to the notion that”这类作文结尾，是否是一种符合欧美人思维的文章，因为你只要稍微把经济学人的文章找几篇文章的结尾看一下就会知道，其实这里面绝大多数时候，都是以罗列多方观点作为末段的开头。然后以开放式的笔法来进行结尾。这与我们很多学生写的一面倒型的结尾是完全不同的。

但是既然我们想制造的就是中国是模板，那么好吧，请将“ After ruminating over all these factors, ”“It is more advantageous for us to make decision alone,”“As far as I am concerned, I come to the notion that”收入你的囊中，其实这几个模板结尾还是不错的。但是这同时也给无老师一个启示，就是这两篇文章其实仅仅是一个小小的开始，无老师后面将写大量的文章来探讨模板的制造。无老师真的不清楚这是在帮助中国的考生，还是继续毒害中国的考生，但是既然那么多的考生从分数中受益，那么它就该有存在的价值吧。

Leaders like John F.Kennedy and Martin Luther King have made important contributions to the people of the United States.Name another world leader you think is important.Give specific reasons for your choice.

As an old saying goes “Every great career needs smart leaders”, great leadership is the very important for every country’s national revival.If you ask me which world leader I think is important, my answer will be Chairman Mao without any hesitation.The reasons why I adore him are as follows.

Firstly, Chairman Mao is a great chairman.He came from the poor , so he knew clearly about what they suffered.So he leaded all the poor people to overthrow the suppreion from the imperialism, the feudalism and the bureaucratcapitalism, and rescued all the people of peasant cla from exploitation of the landlord cla through the toughest cla fight.Then he leaded the Chinese Communist Party to build a new China, in which every average people became the owner of the country and got the civil right.

Secondly, Chairman Mao is a great militarist, he showed special military skills during the war with the enemy.For example, when the enemy was thinking about to how to put down the ordinary people cla, he brought out the way of uniting every people to fight.When the enemy was paying attention to seizing the rich large city, he brought out the idea of setting up the rural revolutionary base areas and encircling the cities from the rural areas.What he thought was always different from the general concept, his opinion in military was smart.

What’s more, Chairman Mao is also a great poet, his poetry is also very famous.We can see his optimism and broad mind through many of his masterpieces.We can take the poetry “Spring in Qin Garden Snow” for example, he said that “For truly great men, look to this age alone”, which shows the broad mind and the inspiringconfidence for everything and I think this might have encouraged many people during the tough war.

To sum up, Chairman Mao had made very great contribution to our national liberation and civilization.Although he had made some wrong decisions during his late life, his great achievement was undeniable.So I think he is a very important leader.
