Well, when I’ve got this topic, I remember a holiday at once, that is the Children’s Day——the Children’s Day last year.Why? Because there is really something impreed me.

During the first year of my teaching career, I always work with full paion and attention.I like children, I like to study and play with them.Sometimes, they make me feel that I’m not a teacher but a friend.I believe that if a student like you and he will like the subject you teach.

Every Children’s Day, people will hold a bigcelebration, so do our school.Before that day, we would make preparations for the activities.I and another new teacher were in charge of the “Ringers” game.We felt a little nervous because we had no experience.So we tried our best to decorate the place to attract children.And we took our computer with us to play the funny cartoon music.Then we wait for children to come.

Out of our surprise, when the celebration began, lots of children rushed to our place and asked for playing the game.There was a long line.The music played and played, children happily came and went.But time was limited.40 minutes later, we had to declare game over.At that time, I saw a little boy who didn’t want to leave, when we said to him the game was over again, he even cried.So, I let him play again.And he got the last toy.When I gave the prize to him, he smiled and said “ Thank you, teacher.” I felt so satisfied and because of the smile I wasn’t tired at all.
在我们的惊讶，当庆祝活动开始时，许多儿童送往我们的位置，并要求玩游戏。有一长排。音乐比赛和发挥，孩子高兴地来了又走了。但时间是有限的。 40分钟后，我们不得不宣布比赛结束。在那个时候，我看到了一个小男孩，谁不想离开，当我们对他说，比赛是一次又一次，他甚至哭了起来。所以，我让他再上场比赛。他拿到了最后的玩具。当我给他的奖金，他笑着说： “谢谢你，老师。 ”我觉得很满意，因为我是微笑不累的。
So, in my opinion, we teachers must pay more attention and patience and the most important——love to children.If you give a little love to children，you will get a great deal back.

housework.You do not need to worry about their working efficiency, and you do not need to worry if the robots will be tired.Robots are not afraid of doing such things repeatedly.In the future, there won’t be any workers working on the street.That is to say, hopefully, robots can do jobs such as sweeping the streets, removing the dustbins instead of workers, so that we can save more hands to do other things.
In conclusion, the World-expo will bring us an eye feast, an encyclopedia of advanced technolgies, which will consequently convenience our life in a tremendous way.Trust me, robots are not merely our dreams or fantasies, they will create a totally different miracle.Thank you, the World-expo, and thank those who have made great contributions to the development of advanced technologies.

各镇街（矿区）教育办公室，市直各小学：
为提高全市小学英语教师的综合素质，增强英语教师的课堂教学口语表达能力，培养学生的基本英语素养和初步形成用英语与他人进行交流的能力，经研究，决定举办全市小学英语口语大赛。采取教师组和学生组同时分别进行比赛的形式，现将有关事宜通知如下：
一、参赛对象
全市小学所有英语教师（含英语教研员）和学生。
二、比赛内容
参赛教师和学生可以从以下几个方面任选一题，也可以结合自己的实际情况自拟题目，演讲时间为3分钟。

2、第二阶段（12月8日—12月12日），参与第一阶段评选并获得第一名的选手参加镇街（矿区）、市直小学评选。
3、第三阶段（12月15日—12月19日），各单位参与第二阶段评选并获得第一名的选手在实验小学桃花源校区参加决赛。
四、比赛程序
比赛分教师、学生两组同时进行；每组比赛分两部分依次进行。
（一） 教师组：
第一部分即兴演讲。教师就自选话题进行演讲，时间3分钟； 第二部分定题演讲。教师抽取一个固定话题进行课堂教学设计，现场模拟教学演讲，时间3分钟（共6分钟）。
（二）学生组：
第一部分即兴演讲，就自选话题进行演讲，时间3分钟； 第二部分回答问题，评委就参赛选手所选话题现场提两个问题，选手回答每个问题的时间不超过1分钟。
注意事项：演讲稿由教师自己创作，禁止从网上下载；决赛选手的参赛号和抽取课题均由抽签决定，所抽到的号码或话题为最终结果，不得与任何人交换；演讲稿（附译文）交给评委收回，不得带出演讲室；比赛结束后，参赛师生要把演讲稿电子版发到教研室邮箱fcjysnam@126.com; 参赛选手采取流水演讲形式，一次性完成，不重复进演讲室。

五、评分细则：比赛采取10 分制。
（1）演讲内容（3 分）：要求紧扣主题，观点鲜明，内容生动，格调积极向上，有真情实感；
（2）语言表达（3 分）：要求脱稿演讲，语言规范，口齿清晰，语音、语调优美标准，感情充沛，语言生动流畅，感染力强；
（3）形象风度（2 分）：要求衣着得体，举止大方，表情自然，能灵活运用语速、手势等演讲技巧；
（4）综合印象（1 分）：由评委根据选手的临场表现做出综合素质评价。
（5）时间恰当（1 分）：演讲不得超时，超时者酌情扣分。
六、奖项设置
依据比赛成绩，分别设一等奖12人，二等奖8人。根据学生比赛成绩相应设立教师指导奖，每单位一名。

关于举办昌吉学院第九届英语口语大赛
的通知
为进一步丰富大学校园生活，同时为加强和改进我院学风建设，激发全院学生学习英语的热情，提高全院学生英语整体水平，学院团委决定将举办昌吉学院第九届英语演讲大赛，现将有关事宜通知如下：
一、组织机构
主办：院团委
承办：外语系学生会学习部
二、参赛对象及报名时间
凡昌吉学院在校学生，均可报名参加。竞赛分大学英语组和专业英语组两个组分别进行。初赛各系院（专业组外语系各英语专业班级）至少推荐8名选手。大学英语组和专业英语组进入复赛的选手人数各为12-15人。
各系院接此通知后请于3月29日前将参加初赛的选手名单报外语系学生工作办公室，逾期不报者按弃权处理。
三、竞赛办法
本次大赛由初赛和复赛组成。
初赛部分：
专业组初赛选手于3月28日下午8：00在新校区1416教室、大学英语组新校区及老校区选手于4月初接受院团委及外语系公外教研室的审核，最终确定进入复赛的名单。专业英语组由院团委及外语系专业教研室负责选拔进入复赛的选手。
复赛部分：
复赛将于2013年4月中旬进行，分大学英语组和专业英语组分别进行两场比赛。评委将由外语系外籍教师及外语系教师担任。
四、本次大赛的复赛由三部分组成：
1、定题演讲：此部分的主题内容为Thesmilebehindthetear参赛选手可以围绕主题内容自拟题目。此部分英语专业组占总分的70% ，大学
英语组占总分的30%。演讲时间为3分钟（正负10秒以内，否则扣0.5-1分）。
2、即兴演讲：大赛组委会将组织外语系英语专业教师设计题目，题目采用看图说话、名人名言评论等形式。赛题严格保密。复赛时，由选手提前15分钟准备。此部分占总分的40%，演讲时间为3分钟。
3、回答问题：由1名中国籍英语教师和1名外籍英语教师负责就定题演讲或即兴演讲的内容提问，每个问题给30秒的准备时间，回答时间控制在1分钟之内。此部分占总分的30%。
4、第二部分仅适用于专业英语组。
要求：
1）内容：主题鲜明，与小标题相符，内容清楚、结构清晰、中心突出，合理展开、阐释充分、证据相关、逻辑性强，内容生动、吸引人、不枯燥、能抓住观众注意力。
2)语言：应使用地道的英语。语言准确（发音清晰，音调、音高合适，选词用词准确、相关），语言流利（连读、词重音、句重音、语调、节奏等准确、适中）
3)技巧：幽默感（不能是哑剧式的幽默或调侃，不能使用道具），注意手势，眼神接触和身体语言，自信，有感情与气势；适当使用修辞手段（比喻、类比等）。
定题演讲部分要求参赛选手的稿子必须是自写稿（若发现演讲中摘抄部分超过全篇讲稿的25%以上者，将最少扣5分）。所有参赛选手必须在2013年4月10日之前将两份演讲稿（A4纸，正文为小四号字体）由各系辅导员交至外语系学生工作办公室。演讲稿上须注明参赛选手的系、室、班级、组别以及指导老师的姓名及选手5寸全身照片一张（生活艺术照皆可）。否则，复赛成绩将被扣除5分。
注：
1、3月29日大学英语组初赛报名截止，请各系在此日期前将报名名单用附件以Excel表格形式发送至邮箱1486731067@qq.com，并填好相关信息（姓名、系别、班级、宿舍号、联系方式、指导老师）逾期不报者，按弃权处理。

第八届全国创新英语大赛复赛口语考试评分标准

要求
1．口试时间尽量控制在3分钟以内，不得超过4分钟。
2．如考生演讲时间超过1分钟，考官可直接打断，进行提问。
口试开始当日，参加本场口试的考生应提早在指定的考场外等待考试，按照电脑自动排成的顺序依次进场考试。进入口试考场的考生经过随机抽取试题并在考场门口预习（5~10分钟）后，开始根据试卷中提示进行演讲或回答提问。
考生口试成绩由口试教师按试卷评判标准统一评估后填入《记录表》。
评分标准
评分标准： 满分100分，测试依据发音、准确性、流利程度以及交流能力四个部分判定3个等级。分数分别为；15-25分、8-14分、1-7分。
具体标准如下：
1．发音（包括声音重音、语调、语气）
15-25分：可有少量读音错误，但发音必须准确、流畅。
8-14分：有一些读音错误，发音较准确、流畅。
1-7分： 考生的发音不准确。经常出现读音错误，语音、语调不准确、且断断续续。
2．准确性（包括语法、用词及说话方式）
15-25分：有错误，但基本上能把意思表达清楚。所采用的句子结构规范，能较流利地表述该话题。8-14分：有的意思表达不清。所采用的句子结构基本准确，有少量的语法及用词错误，但能较流利地表述该话题。
1-7分： 表达能力较差，基本句子结构出现错误，缺乏交流。
3．流利程度（包括语速、长短句搭配）
15-25分：能流利地表达该话题。
8-14分：有少量停顿但基本流利。
1-7分： 经常中断且断断续续。
4．交流能力（包括独立性、灵活性以及对谈话方式的把握）
15-25分：基本具有独立性。在交流中能占主导地位，能迅速回答教师所提的问题。
8-14分：有时需要依靠教师的帮助完成该话题的表达。在交流中有少量错误。不能迅速回答教师所提的问题。
1-7分： 需要经常依靠教师的帮助才能完成该话题的表达。掌握了一些句式但使用不当，不能回答教师所提的问题。

小学生“快乐英语”口语大赛活动方案
为了给同学们营造一个良好的英语学习氛围，提高同学们的英语口语能力,提供展现自我的舞台,调动同学们的英语学习积极性，进一步提高小学生英语听说能力的培养。提高我校小学生英语学习的兴趣，调动学生的学习英语的热情。特举办第一届小学生英语口语大赛。
目的是我校小学生英语口语水平，更好的完成《小学英语课程标准》中关于小学英语的最终目标：提高学生英语综合运用的能力。同时让学生体验英语学习的快乐与成功。给学生提供一个展示自我的交流的平台，为今后自己的学习打下一个良好的基础。
一、参加人员要求：
小学3----6年的学生。
二、活动形式及内容
1.我校以班为单位，分年级3年级、4年级、5年级、6年级四个年级分别进行。
2.大赛分两个阶段进行，初赛和复赛。
3.内容范围：
（1）介绍自己 （2）读26个英文字母（3）读单词 （4）读句子 （5）对话
三、活动步骤
1.准备阶段：各班接到通知后，进行竞赛的初期准备活动，调动所有学生的参与热情，确定参加人员。
2.初评阶段：本次大赛的初赛以各班为单位，分班级进行初赛。
3.复赛阶段：在各班初评的基础上，推选出6名优秀的选手代表班级参加全校的决赛。
四、活动要求
1.请各班接此通知后，高度重视此项活动，严格按照要求进行操作，要与学生的日常教学相结合，提高学生的朗读和表演水平。初评阶段尽量扩大参与的范围，并以此为契机，调动学生的参与热情和学习英语的信心。
2.每个年级读的单词和句子都以本学期已学的为主。问题有评委老师提出，学生当场回答。
3.参赛选手按当场抽签决定号码和比赛顺序。

六、活动时间和地点
大赛的决赛定于11月份在大办公室室进行。届时请各位老师带参赛选手准时参加。
