原则上约定见面商谈时,应事先用传真或信函同志对方较为妥当。如果在事先未能以书面告知时,最好说清楚见面时想说的内容,如 to diascu the contract [洽谈合同事宜]。

(2)经由秘书安排约定

Could I see Mr.Hammer sometime this week? (我们能不能在这个星期跟Hammer先生见个面?

sometime this week 是[这个星期随便什么时候]之意。最好配合自己的日程表说清楚有空闲的时间,如 Either on Wednesday or Thursday.(星期三或星期四都可以)。

(3)经由秘书安排约定

Would it be poible to see Mr.Hammer tomorrow? (明天能不能跟 Hammer先生见个面?) 左句含有 Does Mr.Hammer have time to meet with me tomorrow? (Hammer先生明天

有时间跟我见面吗?),或 If he does have time,may I meet him tomorrow? (如果他有空,我明天能跟他见面吗?)之意。

(4)经由秘书安排约定

What time is convenient for him? (他什么时候有空呢?) 也可以说 What time is he available?(他什么时候有空?),但用 convenient 会给人比较客气的感觉。如果无法照对方的要求时间见面时,就说I\\’m available at three o\\’clock.(我三点有空)来试探一下也无妨。

(5)经由秘书安排约定

I\\’d like to have lunch with him tomorrow.(我想明天和他吃午饭)

在欧美,商业界常举行 a lunch meeting [商业午餐]。在这种聚餐中,不但容易相互沟通,也可以借此加深彼此交情,因而用餐的时间长达三小时的情形也屡见不鲜。

(6)直接求见本人

If you have time, I\\’d like to meet with you today.(如果您有时间,我想今天跟您见个面)虽然已约好时间,可是有急事想提早见面时,就可以用这句。如果没有空闲时间就说 I\\’m sorry,but I\\’m really tied up today.(很抱歉,我今天真的没空)。

(7)直接求见本人

Could you spare me about half an hour? (能不能给我半个小时的时间?)

这句话是对熟人说的话。spare是[腾出(时间),分让(东西)之意。有时间的话说 Sure.,OK.等;如果没空的话说 I\\’m afraid I can\\’t.(恐怕不行)就可以了。

(8)直接求见本人

Could we get together at L.A.Restaurant? (我们能不能在洛城餐厅会面?)

get together是[聚会、会面]之意的较为随便的说法。说明聚会地点,如某某餐厅等时,最好指出大家共同认识(shared knowledge)的目标比较好。

I was wondering if we could arrange a meeting to discu the new product.(我想,我们是不是可以安排一次会面来讨论新产品)

这句是经由第三者介绍而尚未谋面的人在约定晤面时使用。I was wondering if...的说法含有不太拘束形式的温和语气。还可以用Would it be poible to meet and discu the new product?.

(10)直接求见本人

I\\’m calling about what we discued the other day.(我打电话是为了前几天我们所讨论的事)

这句是已见过面想再继续时的说词。接到电话的人可以答称 I\\’ve been waiting for your call.(我一直在等您的电话里),并接着说Let\\’s get together.When can we meet to talk?(我们来聚一聚。什么时候可以见面?)

(11)询问目的

What would you like to talk to me about? (你要跟我谈些什么事?)

也可以用 Can l ask you what you want to discu?.要见面之前,事先了解讨论的内容、前后关系、背景(context)等有助于预作交涉前的准备工作。

(12)表示同意

Sure.(好啊!)

简短地表达肯定的方式有 Certainly.(当然可以),Of course.(当然)等,意思都差不多。在谈话中如果常用这种简短词句会给人幼稚的感觉。应该用一些不同说法才能给人较佳印象。

下面我们来看一下快餐店通常serve的食物:

1.套餐 (combo)

通常看着图片就知道几号是什么套餐,点套餐时只要说 Combo number one,或是 number two 就好了。有时店员会问Do you want to go large? 如果你需要,他会给你大的薯条和可乐。

2.汉堡 (hamburger)

老美说汉堡通常会说 burger, 如 cheese burger。在美国单点汉堡店员会问你 goes with cheese? 所以也可以在点的时候就说 without cheese,他就不会再问你了。有些比较好的餐厅还会问你肉要几分熟,有意思吧。

3.薯条 (fries)

记得以前学英语(论坛)时薯条是 French fries,在美国说 fries 就可以了。

4.饮料 (drinks)

在快餐店的饮料就那么几种: a.可乐 coke b.减肥可乐 diet coke (diet) c.雪碧 Sprited.橘子汽水 Hi-C (or orange soda) e.冰茶 (iced tea)

在美国的 soft drink 大多数是可以 refill 的,你可以在店里喝一杯,离去时再去 refill 一杯,相当划算。

Tips:

1.有些老美喜欢用 \"Micky D\'s\" 代替 \"McDonalds.\" 例如:\"Yang, wanna grab some Micky D\'s?\", \"Let\'s go to Micky D\'s.\"

2.在美国的麦当劳和中国不同的是,它们的蕃茄酱都是自己用的,它会有另外一个小台子摆酱和吸管。但是如果你是外带,他就会你要什么酱 (Which sauce do you like?),你就可以答说 ketchup 或是 BBQ sauce。

点餐收银系统工程合同

甲方: 乙方:

甲方现委托______________________________(以下简称乙方)承担监控系统安装调试工程。为明确甲、乙双方的权利、义务和经济责任,本着平等互利、等价有偿的原则,甲、乙双方经友好协商,并依照<中华人民共和国合同法>之规定,就甲方委托乙方点餐收银系统安装与调试达成如下协议:

一、工程概况

1、工程内容:点餐收银系统的安装、调试以及培训

2、工程地点:__________________________________

3、合同签订地:___________________________________

二、技术标准及质量保证

1、技术标准:乙方点餐收银系统布线严格遵照《综合布线系统工程技术规范》,进行规范施工。

2、乙方所供设备均以附件《点餐收银系统配置报价清单》的型号和数量为标准。

3、乙方保证本项目所供产品均为合同中指定的产品,且包装为原包装。产品进场时经甲方验收后进行施工。

三、双方责任

1、乙方负责为甲方提供附件《点餐收银系统配置报价清单》中的设备,具体服务内容包括:进行该系统的安装调试;培训操作员并交付使用;提供该软件的售后维护。

2、甲方协助乙方完成该收款机的安装调试工作,具体包括:系统安装环境基本就绪(确定收银台、电脑室及其它网络信息点位置分布);具备最基本的工作条件(电源、有安全接地保护、相关外设及网络设备);操作人员基本就位(收银员、系统管理员及相关财务负责人),并履行本合同付款条约,如果甲方未按本合同约定支付或延迟支付乙方合同款项,造成供货、维护的停滞、延误,责任由甲方承担。

四、工程造价:详见附表《点餐收银系统配置报价清单》

五、工程付款方式

六、工程的时间和进度

(1) 施工现场电源未接通,或障碍物未清除,影响施工; (2) 因甲方签约时未曾说明的施工限制而影响进度;

(3) 甲方对双方签约认可的设计、配置提出改动而影响工程进度; (4) 在安装调试中停电小时以上或连续间歇性停电天以上; (5) 因甲方决策不及时而影响工程进度;

(6) 因甲方未按合同规定支付乙方有关款项而影响工程进度; (7) 因不可抗力而延误工期。

3、工程中甲方对工程变更,则由甲方向乙方出具工程联系单。

4、在实际施工过程中,根据具体情况,甲乙双方友好协商解决。

七、工程及工程量的变更

1、由于甲方原因,对工程中提出的修改项目,必须向乙方出具工程联系单,确认修改详细清单、工程量的变更和变更金额等事项。如甲方不出具工程联系单,乙方有权利要求甲方按照原设计方案施工。

2、由于乙方因设备停产、施工现场条件限制等原因对工程中提出的修改项目,必须向甲方出具工程联系单,确认修改详细清单、工程量的变更和变更金额等事项。如乙方不出具工程联系单,甲方有权利要求乙方按照原设计方案施工。

八、工程验收

1、甲方有权要求验收工程的部分或全部乙方所供设备,乙方应协助甲方的验收。

2、甲方按附件《点餐收银系统配置报价清单》的设备配置验收乙方提供的设备,整体工程验收遵从附件《点餐收银系统配置报价清单》商定之标准。

3、甲方在收到乙方系统安装调试完毕或工程完工通知之日起两日内完成系统的验收。在此期间内,如甲方没有异议,应即时签署工程验收合格证书,如甲方届时未提出书面异议,也未签署验收合格证书,则视为验收合格。

4、甲方收到乙方验收工程通知之日起三日内不验收,视为验收合格,且有关验收的一切费用由甲方负担。

九、操作培训

该系统安装调试完毕后,乙方负责为甲方收银员、系统管理员及其他系统相关人员进行培训,使甲方可以操作使用该系统,并提供一次开业帮助;培训期间,乙方会就甲方人员的培训效果做出相应的评估报告并交付甲方负责人知晓。

十、售后维护

1、自甲、乙双方签定验收之日起,该系统正式进入壹年售后维护期。

2、壹年售后维护期结束,乙方将向甲方提供有偿现场技术服务。

3、以下情况不在我公司维修范畴内:

(1)设备的外壳正常使用中的磨损、划痕、掉漆等。

(2)非正常损毁:如油、水等液体浸入;场所供电不良引起的故障。 (3)非我公司提供的产品。

(4)非我公司提供的产品导致我公司提供的产品损毁。 (5)非我公司技术人员进行的维修和改装。

(6)用户未按使用说明书操作而造成使用不当,或非我公司软件或病毒等导致的系统故障。 (7)用户未提供应有的工作环境或由于用户二次运输所造成的设备损坏。 (8)自然灾害(雷击、地震、海啸等)和意外情况等不可抗力。

十一、解决合同争议的方式

合同执行中,如需变更,由甲、乙双方另行协商确定变更事宜,增加变更单,双方签字盖章,作为本合同的附件。若发生纠纷,由甲乙双方协商解决,若协商不成,提交仲裁委员会解决,直至提交法院审理。

十二、合同附件《点餐收银系统配置报价清单》作为合同不可分割的一部分,同样具备法律效力。

三、合同附则

1.本合同一式两份,甲乙双方各执一份,双方签字盖章即生效。 2.本合同所属的附件与本合同具有同等效力。

3.本合同执行过程中,所有补充协议经甲乙双方协商签定,盖章之日起生效,属合同的组成部分。
