英汉句子表达方式差异是影响学生英汉互译水平提高的主要原因。文章主要从几个方面探讨英汉句子表达方式的差异,以期对学生的英汉互译水平的提高有所帮助。
在英语教学中, 常常会发现:学生在英译汉时,汉语欧式化,半土半洋,晦涩、难懂; 在汉译英时,英语似乎已被汉语同化, 句子中充满了中国式的英语(chinglish) 。其中原因恐怕涉及很多方面,但最主要的原因在于学生对两种语言的句子表达方式差异不甚了解。因此在英语教学中, 应坚持英汉比较的原则,让学生从理性认识上弄清两种语言的异同,把精力集中于解决异的问题上。正如吕淑湘所说:“对于中国学生最有用的帮助是让他们认识英语和汉语的差别,在每一个具体问题---词形、词义、语法范畴、句子结构上, 都尽可能用汉语的情况来跟英语作比较,让他们通过这种比较得到更深刻的领会。”本文主要探讨英汉句子表达方式的一些差异, 以期对学生的英汉互译水平的提高有所帮助。
一、英语重形合,汉语重意合
英汉句子中, 成分与成分之间或句子与句子之间的连接方式不同。英语多靠形合,汉语多靠意合。
所谓形合就是指英语句子中各分句之间的联系大多是通过词汇纽带直接地显现出来的。所谓意合就是指汉语句子主要通过字词的意义连结起来。英语单词本身就是一种有形式标记的语言, 比如英语在词形变化上除了通过词根或词尾表示词类、词义外,还有名词的单、复数形式, 动词的各种时态形式, 人称代词的格的形式等, 这些词的形式的变化表示着意义的变化。正如吕淑湘先生指出:在某些语言里,形态即使不是语法的一切,至少也是语法的根本。”而汉语在表示动作和事物的关系上(词类,名词数、格, 动词时态) 几乎全部依赖意合。申小龙先生就汉语的无标记性曾指出过:“汉语语词意蕴丰富有余, 配合制约不足,一个个语词好象一个个基本粒子,可以随意碰撞, 只要凑在一起就能意合, 不搞形式主义。”不少学者用了很多生动的例子来说明汉语的这种意合性。比如纸花, 花纸; 半斤, 斤半; 商量好, 好商量; 词序变了, 意义完全改变。在句子结构上, 英语句子的主干结构突出,即主谓机制突出,其它修饰、限制、平行、补充等成分好似主干上的旁枝,借助各种关联词进行空间搭架,把各个子句(clause) 有机地结合起来。而汉语句子则没有一定的主谓框架限制, 句子与句子之间不用或少用连结词来表示相互之间的关系, 而通过逻辑纽带或语序间接地表现出来,有可能几个动词结构连用,或几个名词性短语连续铺排,节奏简洁明快。在表达一些复杂思想时,一般是按时间顺序或事理逻辑关系逐步交代, 层层铺开,形成了汉语句子所特有的线型结构。因此,有的语言学家把英语句子比作一棵参天大树,一串葡萄, 一串珍珠; 把汉语句子比作一根竹子, 一盘珍珠, 这不失为非常形象的比喻。根据以上英汉句子结构的根本差异, 在英汉互译时要注意进行形合法和意合法之间的转换。具体地说, 在汉译英时常常要有意识地在译文中选用适当的词如连词、关系词、介词等按照英语的语法逻辑关系将汉语的几个意义片断连结为并列句或复合句,既正确译出原文的意思,又符合英语的句法。英译汉时, 我们需要将有着层层从属或修饰关系的英语句子按照时间顺序或逻辑顺序分散为几个意义片段,以符合汉语的表达习惯,请看以下几例。 1.as long as the green mountains are there , oneshould not worry about firewood.留得青山在,不怕没柴烧。

二、英语多用静态词,汉语多用动态词
因为汉语动词没有什么形态变化,使用方便,且重于动态描写,所以在汉语中动词用得多;由于英语句子中的谓语动词受形态变化的约束, 而且句子中只能有一个谓语,因此英语有一种少用(谓语) 动词, 或用其它手段表示动作意义, 具有静态特征。英语的这种特征具有多方面的表现。但概括地说, 不外有句法方式和词汇方式两种, 前者包括非谓语形式(即动词的- ed 形式、- ing 形式、和不定式) , 后者包括动词的同源名词(如masterdoubtful)、以及一些具有动作意义的名词( sight、glance、look 等)、形容词(如aware、afraid等)、介词、副词等。
由于英汉句子的上述特征, 英译汉时常常把这些具有动作意义的词汇转译成汉语的动词, 而汉译英时,在确定了句子的谓语后,将其它动词转译成英语的非谓语动词、名词、介词、副词或其它词类。请看以下例子: 1.the sight and sound of our jet planes filled mewith special longing. 看到我们的喷气式飞机,听见隆隆的机声,令我特别神往。 2.she is a lover of chinese parnting. 他热爱中国画。
3.up the street they went ,past stores ,acro a broadsquare ,and then entered a huge building. 他们沿着大街走去,经过许多商店,穿过一个大广场,然后进入了大厦。 4.the parades marched in the street ,carrying flowersand banners in their hands. 游行的人拿着鲜花和彩旗在街道上行进。

被动语态的广泛使用是英语有别于汉语的又一特点。在英语中,凡是不必说出主动者,不原说出主动者, 无从说出主动者或者是为了便于连贯上下文等场合, 往往都用被动语态。科技英语中被动语态的使用更为突出。而在汉语中, 被动语态的使用远远低于英语, 英语被动
语态的句子如果不强调动作的执行者,译成汉语时,很多情况下都译成主动句。

对于广大的初三学员来说，中考已在慢慢走近，相信大家迫切需要掌握行之有效的办法，在短短的不到一年时间内较快提高自己的英语水平。接下来，就初中英语学科复习谈谈。
吃透现有教材
很多教师到了初三，就将重点全部放在了做练习、做试卷上，而对新课课文匆匆带过，甚至忽略不教，笔者认为这是不可取的。因为初三的课文不但题材多样，而且课文中包含了大量有用的短语和初中阶段所有的语法点，因此，学习课文的过程就是一个复习的过程。也有一些学校要求初三教师几套教材一起教授，其实这是没有必要的。教材虽然不同，但都是围绕《大纲》编写。与其在几套教材中“疲于奔命”，倒不如吃透一套教材，让复习在有的放矢的环境下进行。另外，毕业生们还应注意教师提供的有益的学习指导信息，因为这些信息往往是对怎样进行复习最有效的。
巧过单词关
丰富的词汇是新教材的一大特点，而它又是学生和老师抱怨的一个“热点”。笔者认为，无论是教师还是学生，应该做个有心人，在当前既要学好课本，丰富自己的词汇量，又要对所学词汇做一点区分。首先，对课文中出现的新单词，可以用笔在书上圈出，了解其意思和用法；其次，在《新课标》中规定达到的1800—2100个单词中，有1400—1600个是核心词汇，即要求学生能够熟练掌握运用的词汇。这些词汇应被视为“重中之重”，考生一定要做到“心中有数”。而针对这些词汇，可以用荧光笔在课本上划出单词及其相关的结构，熟练掌握其用法；毕业生也可回顾近几年的中考，对已涉及的词语及其用法可用红笔在课文中以着重号划出，做到“心中有底”。相信经过以上这“三步走”的步骤，考生们对于词汇的复习应该有一个较为清晰的思路吧！
通读一本语法书

I think the best way is to use it all the time .First, if we can talk in English , think in English we can learn it well .Second, we should learn to listen, speak, read and write carefully at school.Then,we should spend enough time in practicing English .Last but not least, we will be able to be good at it one day if we keep on working hard at English .
In a word,English is so important that we should learn it well.As we know , English is widely spoken in the world and it is one of the most useful languages around the world .We know it is difficult to learn English .But how to learn it well ?
First, prepare new leons to find out the questions.Then listen to the teacher carefully and write the important points down on notebooks in cla.After cla we should review the leons.Second,we should listen to the tape, and speak English with our clamates anywhere.Next, It’s important to keep a diary every day to practise our written English.Besides these, reading English newspapers and magazines can also improve our reading ability.
Last but not least,keep trying is very important.
How to keep healthy
We all know that keeping healthy is very important.But as a
student,What should we do to keep healthy?There is some advice.
First,we need to have healthy eating habits.Breakfast is neceary.It
gives us energy for the morning.We must also have the right kind of food.Remember to eat more fruit and vegetables,but le fast food.Second,sleep is important.we should go to bed early and get up early.We need eight ours’ sleep every night.If we can’t get enough time to sleep,we may have a headache.Third,happine is also important for our health.It is the best medicine.Be happy to be healthy.Finally,it\'s neceary for us to do exercise.Doing exercise will keep us active and strong.

Shopping online
With development of the Internet,many people are used to shopping
online.It has become a fashion in our daily life.Some of us students also join the group.
Shopping online has many advantages.Just by a click of the
mouse,we can buy what we are intersted in at home.And we can buy anything we want at any time if we like.What’s more,the price of goods is cheeper than that in shops.
Shopping online also has many disadvantages.we can\'t see the things
while we are shopping online,so we are not sure whether they are good or not.What’s more,it’s easy for us to buy goods that are not badly needed.That’s a waste of money.And we can’t enjoy the happine of shopping with our friends.
All in all,I love shopping online.
What Can We Do for the Enviroment
As we know, the environment around us is getting worse and worse.
In some place we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills.So I think we must do something to protect the environment.But what can we do for the environment?
There are some ways.First,we can use cloth bags instead of plastic
bags when we go shopping and we can use both sides of the paper when we write.It helps to protect the environment.what’s more,we can go to school on foot or by bike .Finally, we should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the clarooms in order to save the energy.
In a world,if everyone pays more attention to our environment ,there

students.Can we take mobile phones to school? I think we can’t.

初三英语教学计划

初三学年是学生英语学习发生质的变化的一年。通过第一学期的学习证明，一部分学习优异的学生已步入英语学习的殿堂，他们掌握了灵活的方法，对老师所讲的每一知识点都能心领神会，成绩颇为理想。还有一部分学生由于英语底子差，基础薄，学习态度还存在某些偏差，固而导致英语成绩不理想，针对这一状况，本学期坚持“夯实基础，狠抓双基，改进学法，激发兴趣，提高能力”的指导思想，力争缩小两极差距，做好全面教学工作。
在本学期的英语教学中，要坚持以下理念的应用：
1、要面向全体学生，关注每个学生的情感，激发他们学习英语的兴趣，帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心，使他们在学习过程中发展综合语言运用能力，提高人文素养，增强实践能力，培养创新精神；
2、突出学生主体，尊重个体差异，让学生在老师的指导下构建知识，提高技能，磨练意志，活跃思维，展现个性，发展心智和拓展视野；
3、让学生在使用英语中学习英语，让学生成为good user而不仅仅是learner。让英语成为学生学习生活中最实用的工具而非累赘，让他们在使用和学习英语的过程中，体味到轻松和成功的快乐，而不是无尽的担忧和恐惧。 具体安排：
1、本学期教学内容共4个单元，每一单元用5课时，新授3课时，练习1课时，阅读1课时，共用一个半月的时间，复习时间定为两个月。
2、为了使学生打牢基础不至于出现知识断层，本学期要有计划的把学生学过的但掌握不好的时态、句式、定语从句、状语从句、动词不定式以及部分掌握不好的词汇、短语、句型分插4于单元的新课教学中。
3、认真研究新课程标准，尤其与旧大纲不同的地方，清楚哪些内容是新增加的，哪些内容是已经删掉的，哪些内容已经学的。认真研究新教材，在集体备课的基础上认真备课、上课，认真进行课后辅导和批改作业。
4、为了提高学生的听力水平，从一开始就就对学生进行听力训练。除了利用课堂上的时间外，还坚持每周利用课余时间给学生集体放听力。
5、单词一直是学生的难点、薄弱点，直接影响学生综合能力的提高，在教学中要重视词汇教学，狠抓单词的记忆与巩固以及对词汇的意义与用法的掌握。使学生掌握科学的单词记忆方法和养成勤查词典的习惯。
6、坚持每周一次笔头训练，训练题材、方法力求多样化，并能及时进行讲评。鼓励学生写英文日记，对个别英语特差的学生尽量多批改、多指导。
7、阅读理解能力的培养是初三教学的重点，在单元教学中专门抽出一节课作为阅读课，材料为课外五篇课外阅读理解，并且有计划的指导学生掌握科学的阅读方法。
8、集体备课是提高教学质量和整体教学水平的有力保证，有利于经验丰富的教师与年轻教师互为补充、共同提高。坚持集体备课和相互听课，吸取他人的优秀教学经验和教学方法，逐步提高教学质量。
