Good morning, everybody！Today my topic is --- Environment Protection, Everyone’s Duty
What’s the weather like today? Nice/windy/rainy(依现实天气情况而定) weather we are having，isn’t it！What about the previous days? As we all can see, the weather changes a lot lately.Do you also feel strange about the climates? With the development of economy, people around the world may feel that the climate has been getting steadily warmer and warmer in recent years.It has greatly affected our life.Thus even someone boosts world Eschatological myth（世界末日论）in 2012.You may find, many people inland come all the way to Rizhao to enjoy the beautiful blue sky and sea, breathe the extremely fresh air, and even buy houses for their retirement in the future.Why? Because the climate in Rizhao is very, very pleasant, it is praised by the United Nations as “the most suitable place for human habitation in the world”.In some cities, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution, etc is very awkward(棘手的) for the government.There are many harmful effects.It causes the sea level to rise and many natural disasters to strike.What is more, it disturbs weather patterns, causing droughts, severe storms, hurricanes (飓风).People suffer a lot from disasters relevant to global warming. However, there are still many people who lack consciousne of the environmental protection.I think it\'s high time that human beings took actions for preventing our earth from getting warmer--- global warming.Actually it is everybody’s duty to protect the environment.It is an iue asking for everyone’s participation.Thus here, I formally and eagerly appeal to everyone to protect the environment.It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken right away.First, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify the environment.Besides, stricter laws concerning global warming and irresponsible use of fuel resources have to be put into effect.Third, reduce, reuse and recycle.If everybody stuck to these rules, we would be doing a great thing by protecting the earth.So please take into consideration what I have said, and try to do your part.After all, it will be our next generation that will feel the effects. In a word, there is a long way to go before we can take a comfortable world for granted again.Do it.Do it right.Do it right now.That’s all, thank you for your attention!
