Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Yesterday is history.We know what happened yesterday, but we cannot alter it.Today is like the apple in our hand.Eat it? Or keep it? It all depends on us.Tomorrow is a bar of chocolate which is packed in a box.We have no idea of its flavor.
As the saying goes, no one can call back yesterday.In our daily life, we always find that someone regrets doing unreasonable things yesterday.These people who complain yesterday tend to say, “If time came back, I would never do it again.” But will time come back? No! We cannot turn back the clock, so there is no use in grumbling.Do not regret what we did yesterday and just to make a clean breast of it.Faced with yesterday, is there anything we are able to do? First and foremost, we are supposed to extract leons and absorb experience from yesterday.There is no doubt that yesterday is the best supervisor for everyone.Work today, for we know not how much we may be hindered tomorrow.Thus today is the most treasure.We should live in present, not in the past.We are host of today so that we are able to make today be significant, interesting and colorful or on the contrary, be dull, wasteful and insignificant.We should make full use of today no matter what the weather is.We can run freely in the playground even it is rainy.We can stay home, reading our favorite fiction, even if it is sunny.What we are going to do depends on ourselves.If we choose to do something meaningful, today will be wonderful.If we choose to do something usele, today will be thriftle.
Tomorrow is like a coin which has two sides.On the one hand, tomorrow makes people hold hope for the future.On the other hand, tomorrow fabricates a good excuse for people to delay plans.Tomorrow comes never.Only when we make full use of today, will tomorrow be better.There are people holding that they do not need to finish their work today because there is tomorrow.Under these circumstances, people will do things without efficiency.Besides, we are not God.We never know what will happen tomorrow.Instead of reckoning on tomorrow, we should finish our work today.
Yesterday is history.Tomorrow is mystery.Today is a gift.We should look back upon history, cherish the gift and look for the mystery.
