Building self confidence and self esteem are significant to achieve happine and succe.The life philosophy was taught by my mother since I was a child.But when heard this words firstly I can’t understand it completely.All the meaning of the philosophy was tasted from my daily life.
I studied in a key primary school in our district.After I graduated from primary school, I need to apply middle school.At beginning I’m not sure I can study in Shangbao Middle School which is also a good middle school.Mom told me that you can.So I got confidence from my mother’s words.Then I study hardly and succefully study in Shangbao Middle School.Now, I’m confidence than any time, because I paed a lot of tests organized by the Shangbao Middle School.And I had paed the entrance interview of our school; I was one of the first admitted students at that time.Now when I was going to apply for top boarding schools in the United States, my Mom told me that you can do it.Then I believe that I can try my best to achieve my goal.Firstly, I worked hard to get a high score on TOEFL and SSAT, I have done that.Mom took me being a volunteer to take part in the cerecare wellne center to take care of the children who have cerebral palsy and autism, but communicating with those autistic children is very difficult.My mom told me that I can do it.I have confidence and I want to be nice to them sincerely.Every time I help one child taking standard claes, feed him, help him to go to the toilet, help him put on his clothes.I even made good friends with Jiayi Cao who has autism.Then I found out that if only I have confidence and make effort to do something then I can succeful to achieve my goal.
For the problem of self esteem, I learned from a friend of mine.Her name is Jia Jia.She is a girl who thinks face-saving is important, and think unrestrained is very hard.She is the Chinese representative of our cla.When we at seven grade, one day she flushed and shamed due to pronounced “hungry” into “angry” at one cla.After cla, she told me that as a Chinese representative she felt so shame of the wrong pronunciation.I told her she was over-anxious on this case, but she didn’t agree with me.Though her Chinese academic performance is the best in our cla, she resigned his post as Chinese representative at the next day.On the swimming cla, she’s afraid of jumping into the deep end and hesitates for a moment.Our PE teacher criticized her at the front of my whole clamates.Then she cried a whole cla sitting at the pool edge.Hereafter, she refused swimming though she used to love hugging a swimming ring and soaking in the water.When we became a senior student at middle school, our teacher asked us to prepare performance at the Christmas Eve.And the most importantly our teacher required a volunteer to be a host at the Christmas party.I think my friend Jia Jia was very suitable to be a host on that party, so I encourage her to raise hand.Jia Jia showed a little nervous and told me that she was not very confident.And I said your Chinese grade is the best in our cla and you used to be our Chinese representative, I believe you can do it.A few minutes later she raised hand.And our teacher very happy said that good, Jia Jia is the host of the Christmas party, congratulations! Jia Jia.Jia Jia had been preparing for the party elaborately.In no time the Christmas Party arrived.She made good opening remarks and splendidly hosted games.But when the party near the end she said “the game is” instead of “the prize for the game is”, suddenly all clamates laughed and said she was our Chinese representative, but not excellent.Jia Jia blushed immediately, but the person who said that also added but that’s ok, she did it great.Then Jia jia relaxed.After that
party, she told me the important thing for you is the self esteem, when I feel shame I will encourage me being self esteem then can get respect of others.I agree with her.
