A large number of graduates complain that it is hard to find a good job because the competition is too fierce.However, there are also many other graduates get good positions with their wisdom and effort.Such a great difference among the graduates mainly depends on whether the students could make full use of college or not.To make the most of college, you should make a plan that mainly emphasize on study, activities and social contacts.

First, as a student, the most important task for your college years is to study well.However, study in college demands more reading and thinking.You should learn to manage your time and study in an efficient way.It is of great importance for you to master your specialized subjects and improve your skills with a lot of practice.However, it is not enough to focus your attention on your major.It is also important for you to know more about the courses that interested you and are outside of your majors.It is a good way to make full use of the school libraries.You can devote your spare time to reading more books of different fields, and the abundant resources may help you to absorb a variety of knowledge and expand your horizons.

Second, you should take active part in activities to enrich your college life.There are all different kinds of student clubs on campus.It is wise to be a member of one club that is most attractive to you and suitable for you rather than joining too many clubs.Then it is your duty to work hard with enthusiasm and try to play an important role in the club, to help make your club more lively and outstanding.You may think

that it is a waste of time to participate in activities.However, study shows that it is a good way to increasing your sense of responsibility and developing your abilities, such as supervisory skills and leadership ability.If you can not be over committed and seize some opportunities to develop yourselves, you are able to gain lots of pleasure and experiences from the activities.

Finally, making good relationships with others is another important part of your college life.College is like a small society that there are various kinds of people.Therefore, social contacts are as vital to survive in college as study.In order to get on well with others, you should learn to show respect and care for them and help them out when they are in trouble, on the base that you do not lose your own principle.

If you students at college can study with a practical plan, get involved in activities with energy and interact with others with kindne, you are making the most of your college years.You will regard your college years as a broadening experience and a preparation for entering the society.
