PERSONAL STATEMENT I have chosen English Education for my advanced study because over the years I have developed intense interest in area of English education.In my opinion the English educational style of china is not suitable.I want to work in the China Ministry of Education and develop the English educational style of China.Ever since I was a primary school student, I had cherished a strong desire for a teaching career exemplified by my teachers.In the actual teaching career that I embarked on upon my graduating from university, I have become increasingly aware that the existing educational conditions in China are far from satisfactory.The backward teaching methodology and the prevailing pedagogical ideology have rendered Chinese education out of place with the modern international development in education.I am majoring in English Education.I like finding opportunities to challenge myself.I have the guts to change no matter how difficult this change will be.Also, I must state that it is definitely not a reckle decision because I have done a lot of research about this major and talked with my friends in China and.Based on their opinion and the understanding of this major and the future career circumstance, I finally made up my mind.Since I was a little kid, my parents had always encouraged me to find out the truth by myself.Therefore, I barely followed others, which distinguished me from others.The people around me regard me as a creative thinking, energetic, and competent person. I think that my qualifications, skills and experience are suited for the position you are advertising.I have received 4 years of profeional training in English language skills, and have developed good ability in speaking, writing and translation.I paed the national Test of English Majors Band 4 and I paed the national Test of English Majors Band 8.In May 2015 I took Busine English Certificate and received a score of A for Oral, B for written.
In my extra-curricular activities, I joined the Communist Youth League of Foreign Language School in 2014.I also join in the badminton team of Foreign Language School.During the period Of the 5th China Fair for Investment and International Trade, which was held in Zhanjiang in September 2015, I was appointed Aistant for the Australian delegation.In some occasions, I worked as the personal interpreter.Apart from these, I have been working as a part-time tutor since 2015.I was awarded Excellent Student Award in 2014.That is my own description for
myself as well.
At present, major reforms are being introduced into virtually every important aspect of Chinese society.The field of education especially calls for comprehensive reforms.The UK occupies an absolutely leading position in the present-day world in education.It is my conviction that, in the UK, advanced educational theories, technologies and information will facilitate me immensely in the achievement of remarkable academic progre, fulfilling my aspiration to become an accomplished profeional in the field of education.This will not only bring my patriotic fervor into reality but also make my life more meaningful and rewarding.I hope that my study at your institute will be the basis for my career in academia or consultancy.It has been my ambition to work for the China Ministry of Education I believe that with my strong potential and capability in doing theoretical research.I will be able to realize my career aspiration.
