Today, I will introduce my hometown Yixing to you, which is a beautiful place.I am very lucky that I was born in this city.
First, I want to talk about its superior location.Maybe not every one of you has heard about it, above all, it is just a count-level city.It belongs to Wuxi, which I think you have some knowledge of it.Yixing is in the east of Taihu, at the junction of three provinces, Jiangsu, Anhui and Shanghai, always called “land of rice and fish”by people.

However, the most famous representative is purple cury pottery(紫砂壶).Many people look at it as an artificial but not only a pottery that can be used to drink water.You can see many kinds of potterys.
Also,Yixing has other nicknames,like “the oasis of sea”.
When it comes to its special local product, everyone in Yixing can list a lot, such as: Taihu whitebait(太湖银鱼) , dried bamboo shoots(竹笋干), the streamed rice(乌米饭)and so on.Now, let’s meet the sea of bamboo.From the picture, you can image a beautiful view where is full of bamboo.When blowing a gust of wind, you may feel you are standing in the wonderland.
