Good morning, my dear profeors, it is my honor to be here for your interview.My Chinese name is XX, and my English name is Joyce, named by myself.Joyce means happy and bright, just the feelings I want to give to other people.I come from the city of Haikou,it which is a famous tourist city.I will graduate from the law of science department of XXXX University.Now I am doing my best to obtaining the chance to attend into Jilin University of civil and commercial law.In the past 4 years, most of my time has been spent on study or campus activities, just a month ago, I have taken part in the national judicial examination.Although the result hasn’t come out, I have confidence to pa it.When I was sophomore, I found Company Law very interesting, so I learnt it very hard to build up a solid foundation of profeional knowledge.As to my character , personally, I am very upright、honest and diligent.In my spare time, I like reading books rewarding how to be myself and how to deal with problems.Movies and music are my favorite entertainment.No pains, no gains.Diligence is the mother of succe, so I always believe I should cherish my time and study hard.Because life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.All in all, Jilin University with a highly qualified faculty and strong academic environment is the university I have long admired.I believe that I am a very qualified applicant for admiion into your Master of civil and commercial law.

Well, if I don’t have other choice, I ‘d like to say lawyer.
To be honest, it\'s not an eary question, especially to such students like me that have not studied laws systematic and in-depth. On one hand, as the symbol of justice.judges play the most important role in the legal system, and they are the most powerful figures in legal proce who are respected in society.However, the lawyer’s job is more interesting and challenging, and their job is more creative and active.In a word, it’s hard to make a choice.However, personally I’m inclined to be a lawyer.For I prefer to the kind of life full of paion and challenges.And the working environment is more free and flexible.Further more, Chinese lawyers play an independent role in lawsuits.They do not belong to courts or procuratorates, nor do they belong to their clients.They participate in lawsuits in order to maintain the legal rights and interests of their clients.They are independent.They enjoy not only rights of an ordinary participant in a lawsuit， but also rights compatible with the exercise of the duties of a lawyer.Besides, The lawyers can help people directly and the lawyers can make a lot of money.
5.对现行民法体系civil law system的看法？
Now chinese civil law system comprises the general principle of 4
civil law, property law, contact law, law of pensonal righs, law of marriage, law of inheritance, tort law, intellectual property law and so on.Besides, there are judicial interpretation of china supreme court.
Well, general principle of the civil law, or GPCL for short, was adopted in 1986, it plays a role of civil code for the past two decades.Not like the structure of German civil code, Family Law and Inheritance Law are separated from General Principles of the Civil law.
Neverthele, there are only le than 200 articles in GPCL, which means its provisions are far from applicable.In fact, as we can see from its name, GPCL only provides very general principles concerning its every part.
Therefore, at that time GPCL was adopted as a transitional law.Neverthele, twenty years later it is still in effect, though some articles are usele any more and not compatible with the current situation.Furhmore, there are some specific laws outside GPCL, such as contract law, some provisions of which are contradictive.
