Hello,everyone: It’s my great honor to stand here to deliver my speech.Firstly,please allow me to introduce myself in brief.My name is Hao xiaolong,and I come from Yantai,Shandong,a coastal city,which is famous for apples.I’m 20 years old,a sophomore from school of Construction Machinery.
I am outgoing and I spend near half of my time in study English.I have paticipated in various activities,receiving many honours.I like to communicate with others to improve my oral English.I hope to take part in the competition to widen my prospective,enrich my university life and make more friends.Okay,The “core socialist values” stated that national strength
rests on people’s beliefs.
There is no doubt that integrity is one of the best qualities
any citizen should have.Integrity means speaking the truth and being fair and upright in behavior.Those who gain fortunes not by hard work but by cheating is dishonest.
Honesty is a good virtue.If you are honest all the time,you’ll be trusted and respected by others.A liar is always looked down upon and regarded as a loser by the people around.However,it seems that more and more people believe in moneyat the sacrifice of honesty.They don’t understand or pretend not
to understand thathonesty is the biggest fortune,and that it is the
premise for doing everything well.
In short, honesty is gold.Honest, your reputation will become great.Therefore, we should never make such an excuse as \"A little dishonesty is only a trifle thing.We should eradicate immediately the seed of dishonesty once it is sowed in our minds.Thanks for listening.
