My View on University Ranking In recent years, it is very popular to rank universities.University Ranking Lists based on a variety of criteria can be found on some educational websites, or newspapers.These lists have great influence on students and many families have come to rely on these lists to make their college-choice decisions.To this phenomenon, People’s opinions vary greatly.Some are in favor of university ranking, holding that the results of the ranking are helpful for high school students and their parents to choose which school to apply for.Some people, however, believe that many lists lack specificity and rankings are only numbers.They do not tell you anything about the distinct nature of the school; you do not find any information about the campus life, the type of extra-curricular activities on offer and the nature of sports programs that are available for the students.As far as I am concerned, we should not over-stre the university ranking.It should be remembered that rankings can play a big role in the selection of a college but it should not be the only criteria.Many factors including your own perception of the college should matter in your final choice.

How do they feel about themselves when they see the ranking? The list may become some intangible shackles for them if their own school ranks poorly.In general, there is no easy method to rank these universities, but the Ranking, only helps students ignore the eentials, namely, their ninety-nine percent perspiration.
