Just as an old Chinese saying goes, “Isn\'t it a great pleasure to have friends coming from afar?” In this good season, it’s my great pleasure to welcome you, Fulbright - Hays Delegation of America.First of all, on behalf of Chongqing Municipal Qijiang County Party Committee and County Government, as well as 950,000 folks, I wish to warmly welcome all of you.Hearty thanks to all the leaders from Chongqing Municipal Education Commiion and Chongqing Education Aociation for International Exchange!Qijiang is famous as \"home of Chinese Peasant Prints\" and \"China\'s Western Automobile Gear Town\".Qijiang is a county with a long history, where you can find foils of ancient trees, dinosaur foils and Neolithic sites, etc.As for culture, well-known Peasant Prints, ancient Dongxi
Town and Yongcheng Liujia Band rank the top three.In recent years, we are working hard and a new and prosperous Qijiang is on the way!
As you know, more communication and exchange, more abundant and colorful culture.I believe the visit will help you learn more about Qijiang, thus making both two sides enhance mutual exchanges and communication.I’m sure you will be deeply impreed by your visit and tour.Finally, I sincerely wish your stay here in Qijiang pleasant and happy.May our Sino-US friendship last forever!
