英语阅读报告形式

一、总体要求：

一年级学生每学期阅读英语简易读物或浅显原著2-3本，并做好读书笔记，完成2篇读书报告。二年级学生，要求每学期阅读英语原版小说3-4本，完成2篇读书报告；第

二、四学期末组织一次口述所读内容的汇报活动；第四学期用

powerpoint汇报；时间8—10分钟。

读书报告字数：一年级约800---1000英语单词；二年级1000—1200单词。建议各班每学期召开1-2次班内读书报告会（每位学生在报告会上宣讲自己的读书心得），推荐优秀读书活动小组（个人）参加全院（或年级）读书报告会。

学院每学年组织一次全院或全年级性的读书报告会或优秀读书报告竞赛活

动。

二、读书报告格式

I.Introduction

In the introduction part, information about the book, the author, and his times

should be covered.A brief account of the author’s life should be given together with a description of his times.The latter should include the circumstances that led to the writing of the book under discuion and the historical and social background related

to the content of the book.

II.The Story or A Summary of the Book

A summary should be self-contained, clear and easy to understand.Comments on and criticisms of the book should not be mixed with the summary; they can be left to the third part.The summary of a novel or a play is usually written in the present

tense, or sometimes in the tense of the original work.

III.Comments or My Views on the Book

In this part, the writer exprees his or her own views on the book, names its

merits and demerits, and discues its relevance to the present time.The discuion should of course center on the content of the book, the author’s style and techniques

of writing, if interesting, can also be touched upon.书写格式及装订要求

1．论文必须用计算机排版，用A4纸打印，装订好（页面设置为：左2.8，右

2.5，上2.5，下2.5，行距1.5，单面打印）。

2．页码从正文第一页开始按阿拉伯数字连续编排，位于页面底端居中。

三、推荐课外阅读书目：

1）一年级学生阅读书目：皆为英文简写本。只要求理解，并能复述故事内容。

一般为每本阅读时间为15天左右，依据书的厚薄难易而定。
