Due Attention Should Be Given to Spelling

Ignoring word-spelling in English learning, as students in abundance acknowledge, do exist.While they are busy preparing for the exams as CET 4 and 6 and attach attention to some practical abilities for communicating, there has normally been an oversight to this elementary skill and mistakes are in high frequency.

There are various factors that triggered the phenomenon.To commence, ability to ace the exam and gain the certificate is considered to be of more importance and in duration of college education, students seldom write words down when memorize them.The secondary reason is that student’s lack practice and aignments seldom require writing.

To improve it, I personally aume that cooperation between the school teaching and students’ leaning should be ensured.On the education level, attitude to spelling should be valued in claroom, so does the exam.On the individual level, students should be aware of the basic skills and do everything down to the earth.

为了改善这一状况，我个人认为应该确保学校教学和学生学习两个层面的合作。在教育层面，课堂上就应重视对拼写的态度，在考试中也应如此。在个人层面，学生应意识到基础能力的重要性并且在做任何事时都要脚踏实地。
