The old man and the sea
I first read the old man and the sea when I was a middle school student and I didn’t really know what the author wanted to expre.I just regarded it as an interesting story.
Nowadays, I read it again, only then did I know what it really means.The main character in the story is an unlucky old fisherman, but very strong.One day he found a big marlin.Although he knew it was very difficult to win, he still tried his best to catch the fish.Unluckily, the blood of the fish attracted many sharks.
Perhaps, the result of the story is not important now.I have to admire his courage and perseverance.There are still some questions for us to think about.When we meet difficulties, should we avoid them or face them?
The old man told us the answer .he struggled with the nature, although compared to nature he was too small.He also exceeded himself.
This book teaches me a lot about the attitude towards difficulties.
