Film Review of Titanic

The beautiful and romantic love is the theme of this tragedy movie.Nobody is left unmoved after watching Titanic which makes it one of the world’s most famous romance.Titanic indeed deserves the 11 Oscar Awards.It was my first time to watch this film at the age of 11.It was too young for me to understand the true meaning hidden behind the story, but I was really shocked then by the tragedy and the feelings that were beyond expreion.Ten years later, I watched Titanic again as it had been developed into a 3D film.Apart from feeling amazing at the vivid special effects, I had a different experience about the film.At the beginning of the film, when old Rose see the painting of her and dedicatedly drown into the memory of Jack, my eyes are filled with tears unconsciously.I can see the permanent love in her brimming eyes.Even though 80 years have been slipped away, memories are still fresh in her mind, so is her love.Director has spared no efforts to portray the love between Jack and Rose.I have felt the sincere love when Jack reached out his hands and told Rose that ‘You jump, I jump’; the regardle love when Rose jumped back to the Titanic from the lifeboat just out of concern; the selfle and great love when Jack gave the only floating wood to Rose and himself was trembling in the icy water; the courage resulting from love when Rose gently let go Jack’s body and blew a whistle to scratch the opportunity to survive; the eternal love when Rose told the staff that her name was Rose Dawson without hesitation.Perhaps their love was so moving that the crucial fate began to envy them.The Death took away 1503 lives on the ship, including Jack’s.While some people are mourning for the death of Jack and Rose who loses her love, I let my thoughts go deeper and find that there are positive spirits other than pathos which deserves praise.It goes without saying that, they are both unfortunate because they are deprived of accompanying each other for the rest of their lives by the tragedy.However, Jack and Rose are lucky dogs who has found the true love in their life and bravely fought for their future, while many others are still imprisoned by the strict hierarchy.I think highly of Jack, who never feels ashamed of his status, and Rose, who breaks chains boldly of the fate and struggles for her own happine.And I am firmly convinced that there is never an end of this love story because in the sweet dream where old Rose paes by quietly, she comes back to Jack and meets all the casualties on Titanic.It seems that they are in a world full of happine.Actually, aside from love, we can also find the human splendors and weaknees when people are faced with the disaster.What impre me most are the gallantry and responsibility of the Englishmen.Here are some touching scenes: the captain chooses to sink with the ship to shoulder himself the responsibility of the accident; the violinists play music to conform the scared people till the last moment; priorities are given to the women and children to use the limited lifeboats...All these have shocked me heart and soul.However, the selfishne is thoroughly exposed among the gentlemen.The boatmen trys hard to keep people in third cla away from getting on

the deck due to their lower status and ignores the fact that they are also lives.Cal, Rose’s fiancé, bribes the boatman for a seat on lifeboat but is fail.Eventually he pretends to be a family of an orphan to get on the lifeboat which shows the weaknees of the human nature. A question comes up to my mind, if you were one of them on the ship, what would you do? Will you help others in need without hesitation or will you be too flustered to give consideration to no one else but yourself? Any answer is uncertain before you have gone through the certain situation.But if there is love in your heart, it is not difficult to make your own choice.From my point of view, it is no need to worry about the inconvenient disasters in the future.Let us live in the real moments.No one can tell what is going to happen the next minute and the future is unpredictable.In order to never regret yourselves, it is eential to treasure the people by your side and the things you have.Do not be shy to tell your love to whom you love and enjoy every minutes of your life however hard it would be.Just take it as a trick of your life.It should be appreciated that when we wake up the next morning, we can smile to the shining sun.
