Helloeveryone:

My name is WuYi.I want to start my speech with a question “Do you know yourself ?”Maybe you will feel strange or confused when hearing my question, Actually, it isａpointed question ,because many of us don not know ourselves very well .It is neceary for us to discover ourselves.

Here I want to share my experience with you .

To be honest,I used to be very shy.I was fond of English .But I could not dare to answer questions in cla .Knowing about my problem,my mother sent me to an special English school.In this school ,all the leons were taught by foreign teachers.Other students spoke English very well.But when it was my turn ,there was no doubt ,that I could not open my mouth.The teacher tried to encourage me,but I became more nevers when I saw his blue eyes.After cla ,the teacher came to talk to me .I could well remember his words .He said:“Actually, you are good at English.So just be youself,believe in youself,you are the best.”

Moved by the teacher, I was determined to make a change.In cla, I listened carefully and tried to answer questions in fluent English .After cla, I also took an active part in many activities .This summer vacation, I went on a journey to Europe.I seized every chance to talk with foreigners and I have gained a lot from

communicating with them .Now, I can talk with foreigners very fluently and freely.And I have been very confident.Teachers, parents and my friends are ammuzed to see my change .And I am also proud of myself ,because I have discovered myself.

In my opinion ,I think no matter what you have done or how ordinary you are ,you should discoveryourself.In this way ,you can over come your weakne and be a confident person like me.I am not bright but I am kind.

I am not talented, but I am hard-working.

I am not gold, but I will shine.

Today I stand here.Maybe I will fail.But for me ,it has already been a succe, because I over came my weakne and I have discovered myself.
