有良好的数学基础，学过物理化学，化工原理，化学反应工程的理工科专业都可以申请化学工程研究生

英语考试：IBT和gre方面，一般95分和1200分是较好学校的一般线。

化工前十名：GPA 3.5以上

GRE SUB（化学） toefl 100以上

GRE1350以上 才有竞争力

化工60-80名学校：GPA:3.2，GRE1200，TOEFL 90

注册化工工程师、注册安全工程师（危化）、注册环评工程师、注册咨询工程师等。
