英语课主题发言演讲稿
How many people said “I love you.” to their parents? How many people said “I love you.” to their friends? And how many people said “I love you.” to their husbands and wives? It’s not a difficult thing for Americans to say the words, whenever and wherever they want to say, they just do it.However, it is not easy for Chinese, especially to say “I love you.” to our families and friends.Should we say “I love you.” to the people we love? Or in other words, should love be said out？ In one hand, I don’t think it is neceary and even sometimes I hate the people who say it frequently.Because in my mind, the true love should be expreed by doing something helpful instead of saying nice words.I like the people who say nothing but do every thing they can for the people they love.While some people, they say every nice, gorgeous, flowery language but do nothing useful.What they said are all gab flashy without substance.What’s worse, there are a few people, they say love in front of people while do some bad and harmful things behind people’s back.It is so hypocritical and detestable.In terms of this situation, actions are more meaningful than words, so love should not be said out.Yet, in another hand, some people are often misunderstood by who they love because they say nothing.A simple and common example is that most of parents especially fathers say so little thing about their children’s life, study or other detail things as if they care nothing about the children.Some children feel hurt as a result of the surface carelene, and contradictions appear between father and child.What children don’t know is that their fathers are trying their best to establish a strong and powerful background for them.In terms of this situation, love should be said out.Maybe some one can deal well with the two contradict situations and always say love out in proper time.Yet how many people can do that? I’m not one of them at least.I prefer to do something for my families and friends rather than say “I love you.” On one side, I don’t think words can do anything, and on another side, I will feel shy to do that.But I know love is not only a word, it stands for a heart filled with love, no matter we choose to say it out loudly or not, what we do should fair to out hearts.
