There is an old saying that the phoenix would perch nowhere except in the phoenix tree.The reason why Boao can attract so many world leaders and great persons to gather here is probably due to its unique geography to the world as the neck to the dragon.We are so luckly that we can live in this prosperous world today.The legendary\'Ao\',the turtle dragon,has been incarnated into the East Island of Boao on which a magnificent cave was found,some experienced Taoist named it Dragon Neck Cave.The dragon\'s body shape is similar to that a snake.The neck of snake,called\'Seventh Inch\'in Chinese,is the most important part of a snake body.When people stand on this opening cave and speak,they can hear the echoes cricling around for a long time.This is deemed as a wonder created by the God.Taoists call is \'Good-Luck Platform\'.People coming here to pray for good luck,promotion,longevity,happine and fortune will all realize their dreams in the near future.It is a typical symbol of the culture of Dragon in China.

博鳌亚洲论坛是一个非政府、非营利的国际组织，目前已成为亚洲以及其他大洲有关国家政府、工商界和学术界领袖就亚洲以及全球重要事务进行对话的高层次平台。博鳌亚洲论坛致力于通过区域经济的进一步整合，推进亚洲国家实现发展目标。每年在海南博鳌举行的博鳌亚洲论坛年会，为政府、企业及专家学者提供了一个共商国际经济与社会发展诸方面问题的高层对话平台。

为方便各界游客了解博鳌亚洲论坛年会的相关情况，景区特设立博鳌亚洲论坛展览馆。展馆总面积600余平方米，分为11个区。分别就博鳌亚洲论坛的创办、博鳌亚洲论坛历届年会、国际组织、政要致词、论坛相关活动等情况进行综合介绍。

To help friends from all walks of life better understand the BFA annual conventions, the BFA Exhibition Hall is especially established at the site.Divided into 11 sections, the exhibition hall covers an area of over 600 square meters.It provides the comprehensive introduction as to the founding of Boao Forum for Asia, the BFA conventions in the past years, the international organizations, addrees made by important government officials, relevant events, etc.

喷泉广场位于博鳌亚洲论坛国际会议中心南门前，是一处由一个涌泉托起的镂空金属地球仪和一个椭圆型的喷泉池组成的景观区。地球仪上亚洲所在的位置正好伸向进岛公路的主干道，它寓意着亚洲论坛是一个开放、发展的论坛，同时代表着亚洲论坛国际会议中心欢迎来自四面八方的朋友们的到来。椭圆型的喷泉池结合―鳌‖身形状作了个抽象化的设计，池内喷管分为三层，从内而外，分别由

6、62根不同粗细的喷管组成，喷泉喷涌的规律错落有致，层次分明，别出心裁。在喷泉广场两侧，有28个博鳌亚洲论坛会员国的国旗展示。

喷泉广场前行是博鳌亚洲论坛国际会议中心主会场的南门。南门上竖立有“博鳌亚洲论坛国际会议中心”十二个金字。这十二个字含金量很高。说它们含金量很高是因为：其一，它们的表面由24K金粉镀成；其二，这十二个字是原国家主席江泽民同志专门为博鳌亚洲论坛国际会议中心的落成亲笔题写的。

Situated before the southern gate of BFAInternationalConvention Center, the Water Spring Square is a scenic site composed of a hollowed-out metal terrestrial globe that appears to be supported by the overflowing spring and an oval fountain pond.The location of Asia on the globe just stretches to the main road to the island, which implies that BFA is an open and evolutive forum and meanwhile represents that friends from far and near are welcome to the BFAInternationalConvention Center.The oval fountain pond is of an abstract design in combination of “Ao”, a turtle-shape animal.The ejection pipes in the pond are divided into three layers and they are composed, from the interior to the exterior, of 14 pipes, 96 pipes and 62 pipes respectively in various sizes, so the fountain can eject water regularly, evidently and uniquely.

名人园，是向出席博鳌亚洲论坛年会及其它重大会议的各国贵宾提供植树纪念服务的景观区。

The Gardenof Famous Persons serves to provide the commemoration services by planting trees for honored guests from various countries who attend the annual conference of BFA and other important conventions.

博鳌亚洲论坛国际会议中心高尔夫球会外景观

External Landscape of BFA International Convention Center Golf Club

沿宽大的景区主干道前行，左侧便是占地面积1670亩的博鳌亚洲论坛国际会议中心高尔夫球会。这个勒克斯风格的18洞72国际标准杆高尔夫球场，由享誉盛名的澳大利亚设计师GRAHAM MARSH 所设计，球道总长度为7129码。球场规划巧妙融合了当地独特的自然地形，周围远景与小溪、瀑布、民居及古朴的园林景观融为一体.球场的草坪是从夏威夷专门引进的―海滨雀被草‖，其特点是耐寒耐咸，而且越长越绿，特别适合在海南这种热带季风气候中生长。

球场零星点缀的立体沙坑几乎都呈45度角，沙坑里的细沙是专门从三亚未经开发的区域精挑细选来的。沙质洁白细腻，球场线条流畅自然，独具匠心，无论从视觉美感还是从打球的效果来看，都可算为亚太地区一个独具韵味的球场。

Walking along the main road of the scenic site, one will see on one side the BFA International Convention Center Golf Club ,which covers more than 1670 mou.This is a Lux styled golf course with 18 holes and 72 international standard pars, designed by the famous Australian designer Graham Marsh.The golf course is skillfully planned to be blended into the unique natural topography of this area and allows the surrounding views to harmoniously combine with the streams, waterfalls, residential houses and quaint park landscapes.The golf course is of the natural and smooth lines and the design is ingenious.
