(一)英语介绍信的定义和类型

1.介绍信的定义

通过对某人的情况介绍让收信人对被介绍人有一定的了解,并使他们相互认识,从而解决被介绍人的一些实际问题,这样的英语书信就是介绍信。

2.介绍信的类型

(1)正式介绍信(formal letter introduction)

正式介绍信一般是写信人因为公事将自己本单位本部门的某人或业务关系人介绍给某单位或某个人,从而处理一些同公务有关的事宜或进行业务接洽。这种介绍信格式要求规范、严谨,语气比较正式、庄重。

(2)非正式介绍信(informal letter of introduction)

这是一种个人与个人之间交流的介绍信,用以介绍朋友相互认识,介绍某人前往办理事务,或有什么事请朋友帮忙,等等。这种介绍信一般从词语的选用到行文都较随意。

(二)介绍信的内容和写作注意事项

1.介绍信的内容

(1)被介绍人的基本情况

不管由于公事还是由于私事,介绍信应首先介绍前去联系的人的基本情况。所谓基本情况主要包括被介绍人的姓名、职务、与写信人的关系等。

(2)介绍的原因和目的

向收信人说明被介绍人前往是为了开展什么工作,办理什么事情,需要收信人给予哪些具体帮助或照顾等。

(3)表示谢意

预先对对方可能给予的帮助或照顾表示感谢。

2.介绍信写作的注意事项

介绍信写作的格式同一般书信大致相同,但一般不必写信头和信内地址,而只在右上角处注明写信的时间即可。

介绍信在选词上要客气,请求他人帮忙不可用命令的口吻。一定要预先在文中向收信人表示感谢,做到不失礼节。

介绍信篇幅无需太长,文字要简洁,语言要流畅。

介绍信证明信

一、导入新课:

书信是个人与个人、个人与组织、组织与组织之间,运用文字交流思想感情、沟通情况、研究问题、商讨事情、互通信息的一种应用文体。

书信大体上可以分为三种类型:一般书信、专用书信和公务书信。

二、教学组织及教学过程

一、一般书信的格式写法

(一)一般书信由六部分组成,即称谓、问候语、正文、祝颂语、具名、日期六部分。

(二)一般书信写作的注意事项

1.第一次同对方通信时,在正文之后或日期之下一定要详细地写上自己的联系地址、邮政编码。

2.如果是给熟悉的人写信,在写完之后发现有遗漏的内容,可以在结尾后补写附言。

3.写信就是和对方交谈,只是对方不在面前,把要说的话写出来而已。因此要抓住重点,清楚明白,诚恳有礼。

4.要考虑对象,要考虑对方的身份、经历、文化水平等,语言一般要尽量口语化,直截了当,浅显明白,用语规范。给文化水平较高的人写信,典雅些也无妨。

5.要字迹工整、标点符号正确、格式规范,不可潦草,尽量不要涂改。

6.不可用红色墨水的笔或铅笔写信,这是不礼貌的。

书信的另一大类是专用书信,常用的有介绍信、证明信、慰问信、表扬信、感谢信、公开信、建议书、决心书、申请书、倡议书等多种。

二、介绍信

(一)介绍信的性质

介绍信是机关、团体、企事业单位介绍本单位的人员到其他单位接洽、联系、磋商工作、事情等所写的一种专用书信,它可以证明持有人的身份,具有凭证性的特点。介绍信是用来介绍本单位人员到有关单位去接洽事情、办理公务(联系工作、参观学习、出席会议、调查事项等)的一种专用书信。持介绍信的人以此作为与对方单位联系工作的 凭证。由于介绍信上一般还有持信人的职务、职称、政治(教学案例,试卷,课件,教案)面貌,因此介绍信还有证明身份的作用。一般都使用印刷好的介绍信,并留有存根以便于查核。

(二)介绍信的格式写法

介绍信主要有两种形式,普通介绍信和专用介绍信。 普通介绍信一般不带存根,正中写 “介绍信”。内容包括:称呼、正文、结尾、署名和门期,并注上有效日期。

专用介绍信共有两联,一联是存根,另一联是介绍信的本文。两联正中有间缝,同时编有号码。 一种是固定格式,印刷好的介绍信格式,留存根,有编号,便于查询。另一种是公用信纸临时书写,不受限制。

介绍信的内容组成:

1.标题在第一行正中写“介绍信”或“××单位介绍信”,字体一般用黑体,较大。

2.字号在第二行偏右,由单位规范代字、文种代字(“介字”)和该介绍信的顺序号构成。

3.称谓前往联系单位的名称,顶格写,后加冒号。

4.正文包括持介绍信者姓名、人数,接洽的具体事项。一般用“兹有”“现有”等词语开头,用“请接洽”、“请协助”等词语结尾。人数要大写。

5.祝颂语格式要求同一般书信,内容一般都是“此致”、“敬礼”。

6.有效期限一般是往返路途加办事所用时间再稍宽出一二天为宜。

7.时间就是介绍信开出的时间,写完后在其上加盖公章。

(三)介绍信写作的注意事项

1.联系的事情要写得具体清楚,语言简洁概括平实,不写原因、结果,不议论、抒情。

2.向对方提出要求时语气要谦和,一般用“请接洽”、“请予协助”等,不能使用“要”、“应该”、“必须”等带有命令性的语气。

3.一份介绍信只写一个联系单位、一件事情。

4.不得随意涂改。如有涂改,涂改处必须加盖公章,否则,对方可以不予接待。

5.与一般书信相同,介绍信以及其他专用书信均不可使用红色墨水的笔或铅笔。

三、证明信

(一)证明信的性质

证明信是由机关、团体或个人出具的、证明某人的身份、经历、学历或某件事情真实情况的专用书信。

(二)证明信的写法:

一是标题,通常有两种方式构成:一种是单独以文种名作标题,就是在第一行中间冠以“证明信”、“证明”字样。另外一种是由文种名和事由共同构成。二是称谓,位置同一般书信(如果收信对象不确定,可以不写称谓)。三是正文,内容若复杂则分段写,“特此证明”是证明信正文的专用结语。祝颂语要求同介绍信,署名、日期格式同一般书信。若是单位出具的证明,须加盖公章。

(三)证明信写作的注意事项

1.证明的内容要针对对方所要求的要点写,其他无关的不写。

2.写证明信态度要严肃认真,实事求是,言之有据,对被证明的人或事,必须有清楚的了解。

3.语言要简明、准确、平实,不得有半点夸饰,也不能模棱两可、含糊其辞,更不要抒情。

4.不能用铅笔或红色墨水的笔写,不得涂改。若有涂改,单位出具的要在涂改处加盖公章,个人出具的要在涂改处加盖证明人的指纹。

5.单位出具的证明要加盖公章,并且留有存根备查。

6.以个人名义所发的证明信,要写明写证明信者本人的政治面貌、工作情况等也可由写证明信人所在的单位签署意见。

7.有时单位为外出办事的个人出具证明其身份的证明信,对于这种随身携带的证明信,一般要求在证明信的结尾注明有效时间、过期无效的期限。
