十九世纪是西方女性文学的黄金时代，也是真正意义上的西方女性文学产生的时期。从某种意义上说，这是一个女性想象力驰骋的黄金时代。需要指出的事，这也是西方历史上一个重要的文化转型时期。在这个世纪里不仅妇女生活状态有

实际上无论从情节、人物、还是字数来说，《小妇人》都是一本“小书”，但却是一部温馨的令人阅读后难以忘怀的小说，具有独特的艺术魅力。这也是一个多世纪过去了，可这本书的光彩非但未有稍减，而是仍像一块巨大的磁石，牢牢地将一代人与令一代人联系起来，尤其把女性读者吸引过来的重要原因。
一、时代魅力。所谓拓荒者精神，是美国建国之初，在早期移民中产生的一种生活、生存意识。他们披荆斩棘、力启山林与各种灾难搏斗，用必胜的意志和信念去面对和建设全新的世界。这种生活意识已成为美国民族社会创业的精神基石，为美国创造了伟大的业绩，同时也成为全人类不断开拓谋求发展的宝贵精神遗产。拓荒者的精神已成为美国社会的普遍意识和精神沉淀，但《小妇人》的故事中并没有一望无际的荒原，没有惊心动魄起伏的情节，它是以生动活泼的笔调， 1

二、人性魅力。普通家庭生活中，极细碎的事情中，就足以看出主人公们的品质情操。由于家庭生活的艰苦，四姐妹只能忍受没有礼物的圣诞节，可是她们却想让劳碌辛苦的妈妈有意外的惊喜。于是四姐妹每人给马奇太太（她们的慈爱的母亲）准备了一份圣诞礼物，在外面工作的梅格、乔分别买了漂亮的手套和鞋，
贝思则送了镶边的手帕，艾美也用零用钱买了大瓶的香水。当然妈妈也没忘记她们，每个人都得到了一本书。就是这些生活中的平常事中，也饱含了让人感动的深情。让我们不由得羡慕这样的家庭，让我们深深的陶醉其中。
马奇一家不但是内部友爱温馨，更可贵的是她们对待周围的人，即使是陌生人也是充满爱心的。就在她们准备欢度圣诞的早晨，母亲说出附近一个贫苦的女人和一个生了不多时的婴儿躺在那里，她们没有取暖的炉，为了不受寒冷，还有六个没有东西吃的孩子紧紧拥抱着挤在一张床上------于是，四个姐妹，在母亲的建议下，将她们的早餐送往这个贫苦的家庭作为圣诞礼物。这种充满友爱及人情味的行动只会让四姐妹的快乐加倍。因此，说马奇一家都是慈爱善良的天使一点也不为过，她们的爱心是无处不在的，是人类永恒的心灵之美。这种纯真的人性，正是人类心灵深处至真至善的东西。正所谓真善生美，美生艺术，这也是《小妇人》艺术魅力所在。
三、女性魅力。路·梅·奥尔科特对美有着超乎寻常的感悟力，这不仅因为她有较高的知力，还因为她从女性视角来观察体会自然之美和生活之美。法国当代文艺评论家热拉尔·热奈特《叙事话语·新叙事话语》一书中指出：叙事话语“既是关于叙事的话语，又是对叙事话语的研究”。［１］（ｐ１９６）正如“叙述学就是叙事的学问，研究叙事性的科学” [1](2)一样。它着重就文本空间，叙事话语的方法论、叙事方式、语态等方面进行理论性的探索，为我们解读、研讨世界文学提供了新视角。《小妇人》之所以久盛不衰，使人爱不释卷，除了内在精神品质的吸引力和爱心的感召力外，就是由小说叙事话语的诸多女性特征造成的。
1．按照女性读者群体的阅读习惯和心理要求，采用故事性的叙事结构建文本体系，这是小说《小妇人》在叙事话语方面最为主要的特征。《小妇人》是一本小说化的家庭日记，马奇家四姐妹对自立的权利和追求以及她们对家庭的忠诚眷顾构成了一对贯穿全书的矛盾，是故事熠熠生辉、情节生动感人。它是四个女性形象为核心（其中突出了二姐乔）的一系列线性故事，以性格演变态势及心路历程为叙事轨迹的。全书分为两部共四十七章，作者基本上是按时间顺序，依次描述四个女孩子的成长过程和其中夹杂的感情经历，以及生活的波折，线索分明，井然有序，像和缓的涓涓细流。在这种符合女性阅读时尚潮流的故事性叙事结构中，读者只要按照作者的描述，就能把握人物的作为轨迹，体会创作题意，产生
阅读心灵共鸣，并获得到艺术美好地享受, 尤其在话语层面上, 作者运用第三人称语式陈述,行文清新自然,故事娓娓动听, 不时地巧妙的插入作家的看法，让读者跟着进入沉思。因而为小说营造出了优美的故事性和可读性氛围。运用独特的女性眼光发言是其叙事话语的一大鲜明特征。因此可以说，《小妇人》是一本以女性眼光发言的小说。
2．借助人物话语对答，巧用女性心里分析，是小说叙事话语的又一特征。女性主义文艺理论家珀西·埃德温·惠普尔在研究十九世纪英国女作家勃朗特姐妹创作中的“女性特征”时指出：“最高贵，最完美的女性人物是由男作家刻画出来的，但女性心中微妙的思想和情感是任何男人都无法描写的，而女作家在无意识中却时有表达”。[2](127)惠尔普的这一论断极为精辟，且具有普遍意义。奥尔科特对“女性心中微妙的思想和感情”的分析与演示，确实也达到了任何男人都无法描写的境界，惟有像奥尔科特这样的作家才能运用自如得心应手。
第三十五章“心痛”中有这样的描述，劳里因乔拒绝了他的爱，痛苦之下里家远行。分手时乔跟在他的身后，想趁他回头时跟他挥手道别，他果然回过头，返回来，用手臂绕着她，说：
“哦，乔，难道你真的不能？”
“特迪，亲爱的，我真希望能！”
然后劳里挺直身子，说：“好的，别在意”。随即再不发一言，转身离去。呵。但这可并不好，乔心里也确实在意，当他头也不回地离去时。她知道男孩子劳里永远不会再回来了。
在亲情与爱情选择时，乔绝然地选择了亲情，她不要考虑个人的情感而要负起家庭的重担，因为此时姐姐梅格已经出嫁，最小的妹妹艾美出去远行，最疼爱的贝思又病重，所以她要承担起她的责任，而没有心情谈情说爱。在喜欢与爱纠缠不清时，乔那文学家的头脑中充满了理智，她明白怎样的情感适合她，怎样的女孩子适合她的男孩儿特迪。可是，乔最终还是会长成小妇人的，她贝思离她而去之后，她的男孩娶了艾美之后，她一个人会感到孤独。她明白了爱情之后，生命里就出现了大个子年长的德国教授巴尔，在雨伞下，乔的眼泪泄漏了心里的秘密，也是那个自信心不足的巴尔敢于表达自己的爱慕之情了。物质上贫困，但是精神上富有的巴尔正是乔一直渴望的那个人。所以乔只是轻轻回答“哦，好的！”
这足以表明她已经成熟了，是个可以组建自己小家庭的妇人了。
两段情事的对比，开始的不接受是为了家庭，是不懂爱情；后来的寻找归宿，是因为可以经营爱情，找到了真爱。这正说明乔的性格及思想在随着年龄、处境、经历的变化而发展，不断变化的性格和思想辩证地统一在这个要强、自立又自律的小夫人心灵演变的轨迹上。在这两段的叙事话语中对答起画龙点睛的作用，作家对女性心里的微妙分析，也能做到因时因地而导，充分显示了女作家独特的艺术功力。

从完善自我中走向成熟
——对《小妇人》中“乔”的性格分析
《小妇人》是一部融亲情、友情、爱情于一身的小说。它的作者是美国著名作家路易莎·梅·奥尔科特。小说的主要内容讲的就是马奇家四个不同的女孩如何通过自己的善良和勤劳找到自己的幸福；如何把艰苦的生活过得活泼生动； 如何孜孜不倦地追求甜美爱情、纯真友情、完善性格；如何从天真烂漫的女孩成长为成熟的小妇人。
马奇家的四个女孩性格各异，而我最喜欢乔，一直以来乔都是一个无拘无束，坚守自我原则，她桀骜不驯、胆大心细，喜欢做一些鲁莽的事，脾气暴躁，做事常常不顾后果，说话直言不讳，性格豪爽，
用她自己的话说：“……不高兴穿长礼服，偏不做翠竹式的中国娇小姐，我挺喜欢男孩子的游戏、男孩子的工作、男孩子的风度” ;
在贝思的眼里：“乔，你像是海鸥：强舰难以约束、喜欢狂风暴雨，远远飞向大海，自得其乐。”而在梅格看来：“你就像一个带壳的栗子，外面多刺，内里却光滑柔软。要是有人能接近，还有个甜果仁。”
乔从完善自我中走向成熟主要表现在两方面：
一、为人处事方面
一直以来，乔都是胆大心细，喜欢做一些鲁莽的事，她的脾气暴躁，常常不顾后果，她有一个致命的弱点—— 坏脾气。当艾美烧掉她的书时，“她怒发冲冠，狠劲猛摇艾美，把她弄得牙齿在脑袋里头格格作响，⋯ ⋯她怒不可制，给妹妹一记耳光作为临别纪念……”在艾美主动示好、道歉之后仍不肯原谅她，她找劳里去溜冰以平抑情绪，艾美跟了去，遇到了麻烦，但乔心里反而感到解气，最后，艾美不小心掉进了冰窟窿，差点淹死 ……乔这才醒悟，明白了：怨恨和报复只能把矛盾变大，结果不仅伤害对方，也伤害自己，宽容和谅解才是化解矛盾最好的方法。

读《小妇人》有感
——题记
上了大学，在老师的鼓动下，我由不喜欢读书变成了有点喜欢读书。其实以前不是不喜欢，而是看到那密密麻麻的小字我便主动地选择放弃，但是现在我换了个心态去面对它，即在书中去寻找快乐。现在我好似体会到了“书中自有颜如玉”的真意。
大二上期，我便有幸与《小妇人》英文原版相遇，我就一天天地走进他们的生活：故事发生在南北战争时期，马萨诸塞州的康科德城。在一所旧房子中，住着马奇一家。马奇先生随军当兵去了，家中留下了马奇太太和四个十几岁的女儿：窈窕贤淑，追求高尚但会照顾人的大姐梅格；泼辣直爽，充满躁动却关心家人，梦想成为作家的乔；温柔文静，爱好弹钢琴，忘我无私却需要家里的人的贝思和活泼开朗，喜欢绘画，优雅自私却颇受人喜爱的艾米。
马奇太太善良纯朴，尽管家境并不富裕，还时常省吃俭用接济贫穷的人。在母亲的影响下，四姐妹不仅有漂亮的容貌，
乔和邻居劳伦斯先生的孙子劳里情投意合，更有一颗善良的心。
成了好朋友。梅格则对劳里的家庭教师约翰一见倾心。凡事爱拔尖的小艾米有时会和乔发生摩擦闹别扭，但很快就重归于好。在马奇家笼罩在一层阴云之中时，四姐妹齐心协力以极大的勇气度过了难关，不久，马奇一家又幸福地团聚在一起。但在最后，梅、乔和艾米都找到了幸福的爱情，但贝思却因患病离开了人世。此篇小说没有跌宕起伏的情节，没有引人入胜的悬念，但是语言朴质，趣味无限，真情流露，其中的亲情、友情、爱情都深“别着急，善良的人！守得云开见月明。”
深地感动着我。
从亲情方面来看：让我印象最深的是马奇太太的教育方式，当她们姐妹犯错误的时，马奇太太并没有像当代有些妈妈一样不分青红皂白就给孩子一顿恶“果子”吃，她是先让姐妹们先冷静下来，了解事情的详情，再利用合适的机会让她们知道犯错的原因以及怎样化解彼此间的矛盾。她根本没有责骂任何一个孩子，而是耐心地教给她们做人的道理，这正是我们当代母亲教育子女的一个好榜样。而她们当然也会仔细聆听母亲的教诲，会用自己灵巧的双手给带来家人欢笑，还会用自己聪颖的大脑设计美化心灵的游戏。在我看来，四姐妹认为最幸福的事情就是永远和她们爱的人和爱她们的人生活在一起。
从人物性格方面看，乔的身上的性格让我意识到：哭泣不是一种武器，某些事情哭泣只是暂时的安慰，哭了也解决不了什么！这让我想到了我的童年，美好的时光却是我最不愿意回首的时光。而我那时就只能靠哭来安慰自己，以为哭可以解决父母间的问题，现在想想真的好傻，但又觉得那时纯真得有点可爱。所以如果你是女孩，那就要让自己坚强起来，只有依靠自己才是最可信的；要相信自己可以用双手来赢取别人的目光，而不是让懦弱的泪水来赢取别人的同情，那是可笑的！
一件小事会触碰一个人的愤怒，但我们应该学会自我控制；每一个人都有缺点，但我们都需要去征服它，这也是四姐妹给我们树立的好榜样。不论情况多么复杂、艰难，我们都不能放弃，我们要坚持到最后，所以我要加倍珍惜现在拥有的，继续坚定地朝着梦想前进，我也还会记住：“别着急，善良的人！守得云开见月明。”

Little Women is a novel published in 1868 and written by American author Louisa May Alcott.Little women is a book with the nature of the family autobiography novel.
This book mainly wrote March family from four different characters through its own kind of girl hardworking and found the story of their happine.The novel the plot of the ups and downs no fall rock, not spectacular suspense, but the author USES simple language describes the march of the love of the family home.Their kindne, love and affection loyalty to the desire to deeply touched me.The author describes the only life very ordinary detail, but everywhere to show love, for a better life in the future.
The little woman is about a family decline due to march, and have a poor life, while their father also because his patriotic heart went to war, the father\'s away and make their lives more difficult, but they did not because of the poverty of the real life and give up their efforts to chance, but is everyone with their own efforts to return for a little living expenses to contribute to the family, more rare place is they didn\'t because of his poor and not to help the poor more than they.
March of the house as the girl home the poor, but they managed to anything positive and optimistic attitude.The emphasis on the individual character of their novel and dignity, also show their self constraint, and to
become more independent is the four girl\'s common features.
In their opinion, the home is the growth of their land; it is sacred places of refuge.They will listen carefully to the mother\'s instruction; will do their hands, intelligent nimble brain invented a creative mind can beautification again at the same time the game.
From their poeion, I learned to strong, learn to know content but can\'t meet; I learned to always full of hope for the future, and to chasing the dream\'s optimism; I also learned to double treasures have, don\'t wait to die only lost know their commendable.
