PEP小学英语五年级下册第五单元 A Let’s learn 教学案例 一.教学目标

1.掌握五个动词的ing 形式: walking flying running,jumping 和 swimming 2.能运用像这样的句子“Look at the tiger, It’s running/The elephant is walking.”来描动物正在做的事情。

二、教学重难点

1、重点:掌握五个动词的ing形式,初步掌握句型

“What is it/the tiger/„doing?的意义与用法,并能够运用句型It is +动词ing”描述动物正在做的事情。

2.难点:动词run 和 swim的ing形式。

三、教学准备

动物的图片,动物的头饰,课件

四、教学过程 StepⅠ.Warm up 1.Sing the song 2.Greeting and free talk T:Hello, cla, Nice to meet you Ss: Nice to meet you ,too.

T: What day is it? What’s the weather like today? Which season do you like best? Which animal do you like best? StepⅡ.Presentation 1.Divide the Ss into two groups .They are Zip’s group and Zoom’s group.T: I like all animals, but I like Zip best.You are in Zip’s group.You are in Zoom’s group.Today some animals will have a sports meeting .Who are they? Let’s go and have a look.2.Present the verbs using the pictures or masks (1).T:(The T shows the picture) Look at the tiger.What can it do? S: The tiger/It can run. The T writes these verbs on the Bb (2).T: Look ,they are here .Look at the tiger (The S is wearing the mask.) Ss:Tiger,tiger,what can you do? S.:I can run (Do the action). The T writes these verbs on the Bb The Ss act like these animals .(The Ss can get scores for her/his group) 5.Show the picture of Let’s learn to present the verb-ing.T: Good job.You’re good players.What are they doing at the sports meeting now? Let’s go and have a look .Look at the tiger .What is the tiger doing? S1: It’s/The tiger is running.The T writes this word on the Bb T: Look here, How many “n”s? S2: Two.The Ss read this word after the T, and chant like this: Running, running the tiger is running Tt is running.StepⅢ.Practice 6.Play the finger game to practise these words 7.Spell game Zip’s group: Look at the elephant.It’s walking.w-a-l-k-i-n-g, walking. Zoom’s group: Look at the tiger.It’s running, r-u-n-n-i-n-g,running.8.Chain game. Let two groups look at the Bb or screen and say sentences.Zip’s Group: Look at the tiger .It’s running.Zoom’s Group: Look at the tiger.It’s running.The rabbit is jumping.Zip’s Group: Look at the tiger„„.9.The Ss watch the pictures and say sentences quickly 10.Let the Ss in two groups describe the picture.11.Fill in the blanks.写出动词的现在分词形式(动词的ing形式): fly____ run_____ swim_______ make______ jump_____ play_______ send_ Step Ⅳ.Summary Homework: Read the words and sentences. Copy these words and make the new sentences.
