Hello, everyone. It’s my pleasure to be here.Today I’m going to talk about PEP Primary English, Book7,

Part A of Unit3, Let’s talk. I’ll explain the leon from the following aspects.

一、Teaching aims 1. Aims on the knowledge (1) To enable the students to listen, read and say the key words and phrases : tomorrow, have an art leon, draw some pictures, see a film and do my homework.(2) To enable the students to listen, read and say the sentences: “What are you going to do……?”“I’m/We’re going to„„.” “Sounds great.”

and “Have a good time.”

2. Aims

on the abilities (1) To develop the students’ abilities of listening and speaking.(2) To foster the students’ abilities of communication, good cooperation and innovation.(3) To enable the students to use these sentences in real situations.3. Aims on the emotion To lead the students to arrange the time reasonably.To help the children to form a good habit of dealing the time.

Key points and difficult points 1. Key points (1) To master the words and phrases : tomorrow, have an art leon, draw some pictures, see a film and do my homework.

(2) To enable the students to master the sentences:

“What are you going to do……?”“I’m/We’re going to„„.” “Sounds great.”

and “Have a good time.”

2. Difficult points To help the students to understand this dialogue and make sure they can use these sentences in real situations.

4. Group work: Devide the whole cla into 8 groups to have a competition. Competition runs through

the entire cla.

Teaching procedures and purposes of my teaching design. I will finish this leon in five steps.Step 1. Warm-up 1.Greetings T: Good morning cla.Ss: Good morning Mi Mao.T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. And you? T: I’m fine, too. Thank you.2.Revision 1)

Show the Ss the calendar and time to review the words and phrases: today, tomorrow, next week, this morning, this afternoon, this evening and tonight.2)

A game: Sharp eyes. Review the phrases : visit my grandparents, see a film, take a trip go to the supermarket, draw pictures and do homework.Purpose:

It’s important to form a

better English learning surrounding for the students by playing. Proper competition can arouse the students’ interest in learning English.

3) Review the “Future indefinite tense”.Step 2. Presentation

1.Creating a situation of an English party. And I ’ll say “There’s an English party. Look! Who’s he?”

(Show the picture of Lu Han.) “There are 2 reporters interviewing him. What are they talking about? Do you know?”

Ask the Ss. After Ss answer my question, I’ll say “OK. Let’s see together”. (Teacher plays the recording.) Then show the picture of a film and ask Ss “If

you were Lu Han, what would you answer?”. To lead the Ss to answer“ I’m going to see a film.” Next I’ll say “Sounds great!”

Teach this sentence in different ways like read together, read one by one, or group competition. And ask the Ss why sound adds “s” and tell them the answer.2.Show the picture of Wu Yifan. I’ll ask “Who’s he?”

Ss may answer “Wu Yifan”. Then I will say “Yes. He is talking with the reporters, too. Gue, what are they talking about?”

After Ss give me the answer, let’s check it together. And the same time

I’ll show the picture of a suitcase, to ask Ss “If you were Wu Yifan, what would you answer?”

To lead the Ss to answer “I am going to take a trip”. Then I’ll say “Have a good time.”

Teach this sentence and pratise it in different ways.3.Pair work: Make a dialogue with their deskmates and act it out.Purpose:

To present the key words and sentences are much easier for students to learn and understand the

dialogue.

4.Next I’ll say “Hey, look! Sarah is on the phone with Mike. What are they talking about? Let’s watch the video. You should think about 3 questions. 1) What’s Sarah going to do tomorrow? 2) What’s Sarah going to do in her cla? 3) What’s Mike going to do tomorrow?”

Then check the answers together.5.Watch the video again and read after it. Imitate his pronunciation and intonation.Purpose:

Video can provide a real situation for students to

understand

the dialogue. Imitation helps Ss to form the correct pronunciation.Step 3. Practice 1.Role-play For example boys read Mike and girls read Sarah. Or 2 groups read Mike and 2 groups read Sarah. Then work in their groups and act it out.2.Star challenge The difficulty coefficient is one star, two stars and three stars. For example, one star challenge, I’ll remove two sentences to let the Ss practice. Three stars challenge, I’ll let Ss make a dialogue by themselves and act it out.Purpose:

To make sure that

students can use these sentences in real situations.Their abilities of communication and cooperation will be well

trained. Step 4. Consolidation I’ll ask Ss “What are you going to do on the weekend?” . Through the answers to lead the Ss to arrange the time reasonably. To help the children to form a good habit of dealing the time.Step 5. Homework

Share this dialogue to their parents and repeat this dialogue.Purpose:

Revision is so important that students shoud speak

English as much as they are

in cla or after cla. It’s neceary for students to do

some exercises after cla to

consolidate the knowledge

they have learnt.
