单元10: Money 单元总目标:

1、使学生学会阅读报纸和杂志上文章及阅读广告。

2、练习购物、讨价还价、抱怨和销售物品的相关口语。

3、学会写广告。

4、学习不定代词及不定式的相关用法。 Leon One A Material World(2课时) 课时1: 阅读课

A.通过阅读文章掌握文章大意,分段划分整篇文章并总结每段主要意思。

B.通过细读文章把握文中细节并做练习2和联系3的细节题。 C.小组讨论练习4并在讲台上做报告。 课时二:词汇语法课

A.掌握本课重点词汇及短语并做补充解释。

Leon Two The Right Price(听力课1课时) A.听之前带学生熟悉本课单词,重点讲解练习一中单词和听力中将会听到的词并让学生预测听力内容。

Leon Three Your Money(2课时) 课时1: 阅读课

A.在阅读前通过看图片让学生预测文章内容;通过阅读文章掌握文章大意并总结每段主要意思。

B.通过细读文章把握文中细节并做练习3和联系4的细节题。 C.小组讨论练习5并在讲台上做报告。 课时二:词汇语法课

A.掌握本课重点词汇及短语并做补充解释。

It is you who have the most important role to play in stopping yellow river erosion.It is/was …that/who…强调句子中主语、宾语、状语等。 Marx met Engels in Paris in 1848.It was Marx who/that met Engels in 1848.(主语人) It was Engels that Marx met in Paris in 1848.(宾语人) It was in Paris that Marx met Engels in 1848.(地点) It was in 1848 that Marx met Engels in Paris.(时间) C.完成练习6并讲解语法不定式用法。

不定式to do可在句子中作主语、宾语、表语、宾补、定语和状语。 It is useful to know how to drive.(主语) The best way to learn a foreign language is to make friends with a foreigner.(主语) I need to attend a meeting.(宾语)… C.完成练习8-9.D.在特定动词后,不定式可以和疑问词连用:动词+who/which/what/how/when…+ to do.Could you tell me how to get to the airport? Have you decided what to wear to the party? I know who to turn to for help when I am in trouble 不定式的否定形式是 not to do .She seemed not to notice me.We get home early in order not to mi the TV show.

Leon Four Advertisements(1课时) A.熟悉本课词汇。

Cheap; convenient; easy to use; expensive; practical; reliable; useful; usele; signals/sign; made from/of; satisfied/satisfaction/satisfying; B.通过PPT让学生了解公益广告与商业广告的区别。快速浏览课文并指出哪些广告是真哪些是假。

C.细读课文找出描述物品的形容词或评价词组。在黑板上给出几道细节题让学生独立完成并对答案。

D.讲解形容词ed/ing形式的区别。-ed 指人自己感到如何,-ing指物体或人做主语令人如何。做练习6.He is an interesting man.他是个有趣的人 He is interested in books.他对书感兴趣。

单元11 The Media 单元总目标:

1、学习阅读报纸杂志上文章及正式书信。

2、学习给报纸写正式书信。

3、听电视节目、广播及歌曲中部分。

4、学习被动语态和动名词。 Leon One World News(2课时) 课时1阅读课

A. 熟悉词汇表上本课新词,让学生看文中两张图猜测图中活动并对文章内容做出预测。

B. 快速浏览文章辨别文章出自哪里及两篇文章的主要内容。(新闻)

C. 仔细阅读文章并回答练习2中的细节题。

D. 总结新闻文章的特点与结构:大标题小标题,图片,时间,地点,人物,活动。 课时2 语言点及语法 A. 重点词汇短语解析

一般现在时 is/am/are+v过分 一般过去时was/were+v过分

一般将来时will be/be going to be+v过分 现在/过去进行时be+being+v过分

现在/过去完成时have/has/had+been+v过分 情态动词can/may/must+be+v过分 D.完成练习

Leon Three The Advertising Game(2课时) 课时1 阅读课

A.鼓励学生说出他们所知道的广告并在课堂上分享。让学生分享他们喜欢的广告并告知原因。

B.带着练习3的问题快速阅读文章找出答案。带着学生分析文章主旨大意及结构。

C.分析每段的主旨并用一句话概括。 D.从文中找出练习5中词汇并完成题目。 课时2 词汇语法课 A. 重点词汇及短语

动名词的复合结构:do you mind my opening the door? Leon Four What’s in the Papers?(1课时) A. 让学生讨论什么会经常出现在报纸的报道中,如社会事件,政治问题,商业,娱乐或体育赛事。 B. 让学生分辨PPT中的报纸是哪种报道。

C. 快速阅读文章并把文章内容与练习二中的123相匹配。 D. 细读每条新闻并独立完成练习4中的细节题练习。 E. 练习阅读新闻的技巧并完成练习

7、8.单元12 Culture Shock 单元总目标:

1、学会读懂信件,杂志和广播节目内容。

2、说出不同国家的不同习俗。

3、学会听不同口音英语,应聘对话。

4、学会写非正式信件。

5、学会跟动名词和不定式作宾语的动词。
