做为一名中学生，应该养成勤俭节约的习惯。

就拿我们身边的一些事来说：有的同学在校买的一些饭菜吃不完的剩饭都往桶里倒，这是一种不珍惜粮食的行为，虽然没倒在地上，但还是有点浪费，知道自己吃不了多少，就少打点饭菜，这样又不浪费粮食，又节约钱，这难道不是两全其美的事吗？

勤俭节约可以看出一个人的品德，有一些同学看到其他同学天天打饭吃，所以回家后向爸爸妈妈要钱在学校打饭吃。其实自己的饭吃我觉得很好，可以节约钱，又可以锻炼自己还可以看出是否是一个品德好的学生。没有一点是同学们带的零花钱，有的同学带的钱两三天就没有了，到后来的几天就没钱花，所以就找别人借，有的甚至拿别人的钱，养成一个节约用钱的习惯，可以使自己成为节约的好习惯。

当夏天到时，很多学生用水之后，不关水笼头，在这个集体里，有时还会缺水，而有的人不节约水，要到没有多少水的时候，才知道我们为什么不把浪费的水节约起来等我们水不多时用呢？
