In my sophomore year, I was involved in a team to aist our propaganda minister to hold a graduation party.For my excellent interpersonal skills and executive ability were fitful for this task, I undertook this task with great eagerne and vigor.At the very beginning, all members of the propaganda department followed exactly what the minister ordered and prepared for this party, nobody doubted the plan made by our minister.However, as time went by, with a few tough problems arising, I thought we must make some eential changes in the program, which would be favorable.For example, if we followed the old plan, lack of funds would be one of main difficulties in the second half of preparation; if we made some changes, say, soliciting sponsorship from society, we would save a lot of money.Without any hesitation, I communicated with our president and emphasized the importance of making changes.Besides, I initiated a suitable solution that we should put our members’ heads together and produce a more feasible plan.To my surprise, our minister agreed and he authorized me to make the new plan.I hold a meeting immediately, after I shared my tips, I listened to others’ opinions attentively, at last, we combined good ideas and produced the most suitable plan.Finally, thanks to everyone’s hard-working and active participation, the party was really a great succe.
From this activity, I learned that making changes in a proper time would be a turning point for a program.we should learn to make the change to achieve the best results.What’s more,cooperation exercises tremendous power over programs,we should respect and listen to our colleagues.
