By Wang Min Teaching aims and demands: 1.Students are supposed to learn the following four-skill words: living room, study, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom.2.Students are supposed to learn the chant:

Go to the living room, watch TV.Go to the study, read a book.Go to the kitchen, have a snack.Go to the bedroom, have a sleep.Go to the bathroom, take a shower.Teaching difficulties: Students are supposed to learn the following four-skill words: living room, study, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom.Teaching aids: flashcards, pictures Teaching procedure: Step1.Warm up Say hello to the cla.The teacher introduces myself.“I’m your new friend, Mi Wang.Now I invite you to my home.” Step2 Presentation Show the photo of my home.“This is my home.” Ask the Ss to read the word “home” .“Welcome to my home.I’ll invite you to visit my home.Look, How many rooms are there in my home?” (Five rooms) Ask the Ss to count the rooms like this: Room1, Room2, Room3, Room4, Room5. “Now let’s go to Room1.What can you see in the picture?” (I can see a sofa, a TV…) “So this is my living room.” Show the flashcard and Ss following the teacher to read the word “living room”.Ss clap their hands at the same time.Ask a team of students to read the word one by one.“What can we do in the living room? We can watch TV.”

“ Go to the living room, watch TV.” Ss repeat after the teacher.(The teacher reads the chant and pretends to watch TV at the same time.) Then ask some students to read the sentence individually.

Teach “study, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, Go to the study, read a book.Go to the kitchen, have a snack.Go to the bedroom, have a sleep.Go to the bathroom, take a shower.” in the same way.Step3 Practice

Ⅰ.Riddles.Gue what it is.I’m big.

Ⅲ.Introduce your home.The teacher makes an example.Ss discu and then introduce their homes.

Ⅳ.Open the books and read after the Recording.Step4.Homework 1.If you think your English is not good, please talk about your home to your parents like this: This is my home.You can see a living room, a bedroom, …

2.If you think your English is good, design your ideal (理想的) home, then introduce it to your parents.This is my home.This is … It’s nice / beautiful / clean / big … You can see … I love my home.

3.If you think your English is better, do Ex.2 and write it down on your exercise book.
