the most important traditional Chinese festivals-- the Mid -autumn Festival.

The festival usually falls on the 15th of August according Chinese lunar calendar.It is an occasion for people to get together and celebrate good harvest.Since ancient

times, it has been the custom for us Chinese to celebrate it with moon cakes and all kinds of fruit.All the family

members will gather and have a big meal.They enjoy

the full moon in the open air in the evening while

eating delicious food.As is known to all, the full moon

stands for reunion and harmony in Chinese culture.That is why there are many poems and legends about this
