My name is XXX and I’m from China.I am a senior studying at XXX High School, XXX Country, XX,.I’ve been in America for about four months and gained a lot experience about the life of America.The most important of which is how to communicate with people.China and America are two totally different countries, with vastly difference in culture and tradition.As everything is new to me-- the environment, the people, the culture and the language, I find that there are a lot of things I need to learn.I must learn to ask and to help.I’ve already had some experience in cla in group studying.I was very embarraed for the first time, for I did not know what the task was and I was too shy to talk with other people.But luckily enough, my partners were very nice and friendly.They explained the teacher’s ideas to me and helped me to do the task.Some American students are outgoing and willing to help, while some are shy and quiet, but they always ready to help.This is similar to those of Chinese students in China.American students are very independent.I must know what I really need and I really can’t do myself when I ask them for help.I’ve noticed that some Indian students are very active and enthusiastic, but most of Asian students are generally more likely to be shy.So, I am trying to be more aertive and to initiate discuions with them, which is a good way to improve my English and to develop a better relationship and team ship with them and now I have a lot of friends that make me happy.
