Teaching Content:A Test of True Love

Period 1 Reading Part Teaching Object: freshman in university Teaching Time: 45 minutes Ⅰ.Teaching objectives: 1.Knowledge objectives: (1)Grasp some words and expreions such as digital,territory, destination overseas(2)Know more about English writing method and paragraph writing.(倒叙和对比) 2.Ability objectives:

(1)Improve reading comprehension ability.(2)Practice skimming and scanning for specific information by matching the main topic of each paragraph and answering several questions.3.Affective objectives:

(1)Develop students’ interest towards English.

(2)Know more about the true eence of love,understand how greatest of true love.

Ⅱ.Teaching important points: (1)Use the comparison of different sentences to expre different things,behavior and ideas; (2)Students will be able to improve their ability of independent study and grasp some reading skills, like skimming and scanning.

Ⅲ.Teaching difficult points: (1)The description of human mental activities

( 2 )How to train students’ reading skills effectively and guide students to use these skills correctly.(3)How to arouse students’ interest and enthusiasm in cla and help them develop their ability of independent study.

Ⅳ.Teaching methods: Task-based teaching method; Communicative Language Teaching.Ⅴ.Teaching aids:
