“节日主题”的书面表达教学设计与反思

新镇一中杨中卉年级：九年级

内容：新目标英语（GO FOR IT）

Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious.（Section B 3a-3b）

教材分析 (Analyzing teaching materials) 根据《初中英语新课程标准》的总体目标，初中学生应该对祖国文化有更深刻的了解，乐于接触并了解异国文化。在交际中应该注意中西交际习俗的差异，了解英语国家中传统的饮食习俗和文娱体育活动。九年级UNIT 2（I think that mooncakes are delicious.）设计了festivals的主题，介绍中西方传统的节日，尤其是节日活动和内涵。

Section B 3a-3b是写作活动。3a是填写表格，完善信息，完成基本句型的写作和词汇的拓展。3b要求学生借助3a的笔记，完成三段式的作文。

设计思路 (Planning clues)

这节写作课分为写作前（Pre-writing），写作(While-writing)，写作后(Post-writing)三个部分。

写作前创设语境，看图说话，激活学生已有的知识和经验。因为红包，灯笼，鞭炮这几组图让学生一下子联想到春节，也让老师很容易地呈现必要的语言知识。写作分为碎片性写作和整理性写作两个环节，分别体现在3a和3b的任务里，逐步输出目标语言。写作后反思学习过程，进行替代式操练，尝试向笔友介绍国内是怎样过圣诞节的，讲明差异，表达观点，体现创造性思维。教学目标(Teaching goals) 1知识技能

方国家传统的节日，辨认两种文化的差异。（2）学生能学会规范地使用信件与人进行有效的交流。

和对于节日内涵的发掘。教学过程（Teaching procedures） Step 1 Pre-writing Task 1.A gueing game.Show the pictures of the color red, lanterns, dumplings and the fireworks.Say the key sentences “We usually do something.”

Lead in the festival ---the Spring Festival.

Review the other Chinese traditional festivals in the similar way.Task 2.What do we usually do during the traditional festival? Use “eat, wear, clean, visit …”to make up more sentences.Step 2 While-writing Task 3 3a Group work.Make some notes about the students’ favorite Chinese festival and tell it to the other teammates.Task 4 3b Write a letter to a pen pal and tell him /her about the students’ favorite Chinese festival. In the letter , they had better use 3 paragraphs to introduce the festival clearly.Step 3 Post—writing Task 5 Check the writing in group.Find out the clues and the frames of the letter in order to make the aement.Correct the spelling mistakes.Step4 Extension Task 6 Imagine you’re a native speaker in the USA, write a letter to a pen pal in China , tell him/ her about Christmas activities .The notes in 3a may help a lot. 教学反思

1 关于节日，大都与庆祝活动celebrations或者纪念活动memorials 有关，所以作文的第二部分要求谈论人们吃什么，做什么。即使提示用eat , visit ,share ,buy, make等动词，学生也不容易写丰富，所以，在写作前（Pre-writing）的环节里，要呈现和训练两个句型。（We can eat … .或者People usually eat….更多其他的句型和词汇也可以参考七下UNIT 10 和八上UNIT 8.2 作文的第三部分是解释喜欢这个节日的原因，这涉及对文化内涵的理解，学生写作有障碍。这可以在3a 部分的笔记里输入 a symbol of good luck , best wishes 或者expect sb.to do something.等信息，为信息输出做好铺垫。

3 Task 5 中的作文互评与讲评范例相结合，重视结构和格式，弱化词语搭配和单词拼写方面的问题。这样，教师集中讨论共性的方案，单独批改解决个性问题。
