1、Preparation 1) Analysis of the context It’s the final cla of the unit,designed to consolidate what they learned before.That’s why I lay much emphasis on practicing sentence patterns.The content is about other people’s appearances and characteristics.

2) Anlysis of the students The five-grade pupil have approached to English and accumulated certain amount of knowledge towards it.

3、Teaching Strategy On the premise of task-based approach,I combine various teaching methods together,such as Happy Teaching ,Situation Teaching and TPR.I take advantage of multimedia like PPT to help me illustrate the language point and get myself understood.In addition to that,the adopt of multimedia can also make the cla more vividly so that students won’t be bored but excited during the learning proce.

4、Teaching Procedure 1) Warm up a、Sing the song Head and shoulders knees and toes together.the teacher leads students to touch correct body parts with the music to review the expreion of that part to prepare students for the next study of human charcteristics.

b、Play a touching game.Choose one student from each group,ask them to stand in a line in front of the cla.First,the teacher gives the order,”touch your…”,the students do as the teacher says.Who is wrong will be out.Then the order students can give the order too.The pupil who stands through the game could win his group and himself a ★ as the price.Because of the competion,the whole cla’s attention could be drawed to the game.During the game,I’ll write the key words on the blackboard and practice them vocally in the game.They are”eyes,nose,mouth.

首次杀进全英文面,心情还是相当激动的。

我发现我很是没有找工作的激情,收到荻尔的面试通知是在晚上九点多钟,通知第二天八点多钟就要面试,要准备N多材料,还要准备四分,还要分类分好,装订好。当时我就差点不想去了,那么晚还要去打印,而且全英文面,估计希望也不大,不过最后还是因为这家公司是西安的,也想看看自己英文水平到底怎么样,还是挣扎着去了。结果去了之后也是赤裸裸的被鄙视了。

荻尔咨询管理公司是美资企业,总部在纽约,在中国的分部在西安,据说在西安的新城区,其实内心还是很想去这家公司的,只是这家公司要很好的外语水平,而且要有扎实的理工科背景,我肯定是不够格了。 荻尔在武汉的面试地点是大洋百货星巴克店,好像是包了2层的场地面试,每一个应聘者都可以点饮料。首先是给每个应聘者2个英语小CASE,应聘者用英语写出解题思路和答案。我在这一环节就被活生生的鄙视了,人力资源部的人先给了我一个英语CASE,我没有看懂,然后直接告诉HR说我看不懂,然后HR那是相当的无语,然后很无奈的给我换了一个题,还好我看懂看第二个案例,案例的意思是,有三个门,其中 一个门后面有一百万,你选中了一个门,然后考官打开了剩下的两个门中的一个门,打开的这个门后面是没有钱的,问你是愿意继续选择之前选中的门,还是选剩下那个没有被考官打开的门。我选择的是不换,大概从概率等角度分析了一下,不过实在不知道这个题要考什么素质。

写好之后就交给HR,HR想了又想,决定还是把第一个案例给我做,然后偷偷的告诉我那个案例讲的是什么,题目大概的意思是,有一个日期是2001年10月2号,按照MMDDYYYY的格式书写是10022001,从前往后读和从后往前读是一样的,要找出离这个日期最近的有一样规律的在这个时间之前的日期。 我还是稍微误解了一下题意,我以为要找出这个日期之前的所有的日期,结果题目要求的是找出离这个日期最近的一个日期。在面试的时候被问答案是多少的时候才反应过来。

做完CASE之后就是带着自己做的CASE,和公司CEO FACE TO FACE的面试,外企的文化就是不一样,面试官还要和应聘者握手,然后说NICE TO ME YOU。我之前面试的中文面,直接进去之后就是请坐,或者HR连请坐都不说,直接说自我介绍一下吧,我基本没有什么时间准备荻尔的面试,就准备了一下自我介绍,去了之后人家直接不让自我介绍,肯定知道我们是有备而来的,大概就问为什么投这个公司,为什么选择西安,对这个公司有什么了解,学习成绩怎么样,班级排名第几,面试官特别问了我数学成绩和编程能力,问让我想想我为什么会被叫过去面试,问没有海外培训的机会是不是很是失望,然后问我有没有什么要问的。

由于我的英语水平有限,和HR也只能交流一些基本的问题,面试没有持续多久就结束了,有英语水平好的同学和面试官聊的HAPPY的可以聊很久。

面完之后出来,感觉自信心是前所未有的受到打击,学了那么多年的英语,最后要用的时候还是这么烂的水平,狠狠伤心了一把。 回去之后咧,门口的工作人员给偶安排了二面。这次面的是个老外,美国人。当然,又是全英文的。说来也怪了,偶这次反倒不紧张了,超脱了吧。面试气氛很是融洽啊。老外先让偶问问题。偶问了三个,一个是pa的工作性质是干什么,一个是金融危机,他家有没有受到影响,最后一个,偶就问到,公司找kpmg,或者ey,是由于他们不做审计,就违法了,但是不找咨询,企业也没问题,那怎么才能吸引他们去找咨询咧。介个问题,老外觉得偶问的很好。偶一问完,他就相当有兴趣的给偶讲啊讲啊。偶得承认,偶听不太明白啦,但是还是很能被他吸引的,因为讲得很好,有道理有气势,还特别注重跟偶的眼神交流,呵呵。好在偶头天晚上在网上搜资料看到1点多,看了好多咨询方面的资料,才想到这个问题,付出还是有收获的!!

偶的问题问完了,就是他问了。问题就是为什么想进咨询,有什么项目经验,有什么优点。之后也是给题目做。这次的题目比较简单,一个男生和一个女生约了12点到13点间在公园见,每个人随机到,到了之后等15分钟,问两个人见面的概率。偶做完之后给了他。然后他就直接让偶进三面了。从他的座位到工作人员的路上,偶抓住机会,跟他坦诚的讲了一下偶的offer情况以及对咨询工作机会的重视。然后他真的很nice,跟偶讲,不要担心,如果有别的公司催偶签的话,一定要跟他们联系。偶是相当相当的感动,真的,从来没有哪个公司会这样,一般只要听到你有可能签别家,就对你相当的不爽,理都不想理。

第三面,依然是e文,这个很简单。因为等的人很多,所以就简单的做个自我介绍,然后再问下,除开学术实习获奖这些,你的优点在哪里。最后再问,你觉得你前面两个题目做得怎么样。问完之后,就说因为你过了前面二面,所以我这里就不给题目了。然后就结束了。再次,偶在路上,抓住机会,问了下面试官,偶表现如何,有没有机会。面试官很坦白的说,至少到目前为止,把三个人都面完的很少,你还是表现的很优秀的。听得偶心里喜滋滋,呵呵。

然后偶再次去工作人员那里去登记。值得一提的是,工作人员那里有一张表,记录着每个人的进度。相当的专业啊,不愧是做咨询的!

1.Teach the Ss how to be succeful language learners.

Let the Ss communicate with each other and adopt competition methods to develop the Ss’ keen interest in English.

Part Four Teaching Procedure

I’ll finish this leon in four steps.First I’ll divide the Ss into four groups and bring a competition into the cla.At last let’s see which group is the winner. Step1 Warm-up

1.Free talk between T and Ss .

Such as: Hi, I’m ....What’s your name? This is ….How do you do? Who is he/she? How are you? Who can count from 1to 5? What’s this in English? etc.

2.A game: Ask the Ss to give T some school things.For example: T: Give me your book.(ruler, box, pen, table, knife, etc.) T: This is your book.This is not my book.It’s your book.etc.

In this course I’ll ask them to make a dialogue group by group without repetition.Find out which group will make the most dialogues.

Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by imitating and at the same time it is neceary to provide situations to review learned knowledge. Step2.Presentation

This course is very important.I’ll mainly talk about this step.

I’ll use CAI to present the whole dialogue.Arrange some situations to help Ss understand Sample A. First scene: There is a bag on the floor.B is picking it up and get ready to leave.Now A is talking with B. A: Hi, B.How are you today? B: I’m fine, thank you.And you? A: I’m fine, too.Oh, this is my bag. B: No, this is not your bag.It’s my bag. A: (Look closely) Oh, I’m sorry. B: That’s all right.

(At the same time, C is running up and hitting A.) C: Oh, I’m sorry. A: That’s OK.

I’ll write the key points on the Bb while they are watching.After watching, I’ll teach them to read the words and sentences on the Bb.Make sure they can read them well.

Purpose of my designing: To present Sample A by CAI is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.CAI can provide a real situation with its sound and picture and it makes the relationships between the Ss better. Step3.Practice

First play the tape recorder.Let the Ss listen and imitate the dialogue.Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.In this step the Ss are required to practise the Sample in pairs by reading the dialogue aloud.This step is employed to make the Ss grasp the Sample .At last I’ll ask the Ss to think hard and act it out with a partner according to Sample A.Then find out which group will act it out well.I’ll give them red stars.

Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the dialogue as a whole one.At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practise their listening and spoken ability. Step4.Production

In this step I’ll give the Ss a free space to show their abilities.

Second scene: The Ss are having a picnic.It’s hot and they take off their coats and put them together.They are singing and dancing, laughing and chatting.After the picnic, they begin to look for their coats.D and E are talking.F and G are talking.etc.

After watching, I’ll give the Ss some tasks to make similar dialogues without repetition and find out which group will make more dialogues.

Purpose of my designing: “Task-based” teaching method is used here to develop the Ss’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Tell the Ss we should be polite and take good care of our things.We should love our life.I think proper competition can arouse the Ss’ interest in English learning.If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English. 2.Skill 1 Model 1.

I’ll ask four Ss of the groups to write these sentences on the Bb in the four lines.

Then check their handwriting, correct their mistakes.Find out who will write well and whose handing is the best. 3.Finish the Ss’ workbook.

Purpose of my designing: To check the knowledge Ss have learned in this leon. Step5.Homework:

(1)Recite the words as many as poible after cla.

(2)Make a dialogue according to Sample A and write it in the exercise book.

Purpose of my designing: I think homework is so important that the Ss should speak English as much as they can in cla or after cla.It is neceary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after cla to consolidate the knowledge they learned. Blackboard Design

还记得第一节课李老师用全英文进行自我介绍和课程介绍时,心里非常忐忑,对于即将开始的全英文的学习旅程充满了好奇,也充满了未知的紧张感。李老师教授这门课时沿用了他在美国授课时的考试评价体制,更注重大家对于知识的真实掌握程度。因此这门课的平时分数占的比重非常大。这种方式可以很好地督促大家在平时的学习中不得松懈,而不是像其他的课程一样,老师在平时管理比较宽松,学生也就泛泛而学,只想在期末时一鼓作气,通过拼命学习提高成绩,但其实对于所学的知识其实一知半解,完全没有理解应用。每节课的quiz让大家有了很强大而紧张感,听课效率也有很大提高,我认为这种方式是非常值得借鉴的。

李老师讲课方式深入浅出,循序渐进。一开始并没有直接讲偏微分方程的解法,而是通过讲述它的发展历史以及大体分类等宏观概念性的东西,让大家对于今后所学的主要内容有一个真实的感知。他先通过物理中热量传导模型推出了我们即将研究的heat equation。推导过程结合图形和图表,生动易懂。在引入了热方程这个重要模型后,就围绕如何求解不同类的heat equation不断深入。李老师先教大家如何求解最简单的边界初值偏微分方程。从所给的不同边界条件,不同初值条件,不同的偏微分方程类型,如齐次与非齐次,可变量分离与不可变量分离等等,步步深入,环环紧扣地讲解解方程的方法。其中对于变量分离方法和傅里叶变换等很通用的方法更是不断地重复和讲解,直到大家完全掌握。老师上课非常注重连续性,每次在课前都会回忆上一节课所讲的内容,既可以帮大家进行巩固,又可以为新课做准备。因为这门课主要介绍如求解偏微分方程的各种方法,老师在推导求解步骤时非常行云流水,让人学的非常清晰。虽然是英文授课,但也感觉不会太吃力。他也非常注意听取大家的意见,总会停下来询问大家对于上课速度感觉是否合适,并鼓励大家随时打断他的上课进度来提出自己的见解。这种风度和氛围让大家感觉非常舒服和惬意。

其实,英文授课虽然让大家刚开始比较难以接受,因为语言的障碍会产生一些理解上的问题。但是在过了适应期之后,我觉得英语授课反而能让我们的注意力更加集中,更加专注地听老师讲课,因为不是母语,会迫使我们更加认真听老师讲解,这对我们有很大裨益。

英语授课让我们对数学术语的英语词汇量大增。之前老师用中文上课的时候,在课外看一些国外参考书时,经常会因为其中夹杂着的很多晦涩难懂的专业英语术语而浅尝辄止,对突然冒出的英语词汇因不知如何查阅而放弃。在这次全英文授课过程中,老师教授了我们很多数学术语的英语表达方式,同时也引导我们主动地去了解一些应用数学英语词汇。这个不管对于我们今后的学习深造还是工作都有非常大的好处。
