红螺寺三绝景之御竹林导游词
雷博健 2012042011 欢迎来到“红螺胜景，净土佛国”。 红螺寺始建于公元338年，是我国北方佛教发祥地和最大的佛教丛林,千余年来在佛教中享有极高的地位。我国净土宗的最后两代祖师均与本寺有缘，世有“南有普陀，北有红螺”之说。红螺寺北倚雄伟的红螺山，南照秀美的红螺湖，为一方风水宝地。“红螺三绝景”——御竹林、雌雄银杏、紫藤寄松远近闻名。
山门前的这片竹林为元代云山禅师所栽植，距今已有600多年的历史。据《怀柔县志》记载：公元1694年，康熙圣驾红螺寺降香，看到这片翠绿的竹林倍感新奇，即令身边的官员清点竹子的数量为613株，临走前叮嘱寺内的僧人和当地的官员要对竹林善加保护，以便他常来观赏，后来人们就称这片竹林为“御竹林”。

Being initially founded in the Christian era 338, Hongluo temple is the birth place and the largest temple of Buddhism in China North, and it has been playing an important role in Buddhism for more than one thousand year.The last two arhats of The Pure-land sect had a destiny with the temple, which made Hongluo temple as well-known as Putuo temple in China South.Hongluo temple is embraced by Hongluo Mountain in the north and Hongluo Lake in the south, which is famous for three scenic spots around the temple, namely the “imperial bamboo forest”, “gingkoes in pair” and “pines entangled with wisteria”.
The bamboo forest in front of the gate was planted by monk Yunshan of Yuan dynasty, which has a history of 600 years.According to Huairou county annuals, in 1694, Kangxi, the emperor of Qing dynasty, came to Hongluo temple to burn jo sticks.Seeing the verdant bamboo forest, he felt unimaginable.He ordered the officials count the bamboo, which was 613 in total.He also urged the local officials and the monks to protect the bamboo forest before he left there so that he can appreciate constantly.Therefore, it is called the imperial bamboo forest by local people.
